Only in terms of wins away from home. We got plenty of draws at those grounds and beat plenty of them at home. City were also a very good team at the end of his time and we beat them quite often under him.
I dont think we’ve had a single win away from home at any of those old top 4 grounds since Martinez’s against Moyes’ United when fans have been present. So it’s clearly not just a Moyes issue.

Is there another club that lives in the past and completely rewrites it that any manager/player that leaves is suddenly talked about as a great, despite the Goodison crowd hating them during their time. Mirallas is always talked about like we all loved him and he was incredible. He got abuse nonstop and was a mixed bag.

It’s nostalgia isn’t it? People are harking back to when there was actually something to like about the club and the sport in comparison to now when the club are rubbish, difficult to actually like and footballers are in general pretty nondescript.
I personally used to get annoyed when people would make out Everton were a massive club and belittle fans of other clubs because they won the league twice in the 80’s, but now I can see that was for the exact same reasons
