Was that ever fully confirmed? as at one point there was talk it didn't become active until summer but Burnley accepted the cash anyways

There was some evolution but it was like stone age to the bronze age but overall it's still primitive it was very limited due to the finances and hes ultimately a pragmatist ultra defensive manager
 

Why's that? there's transfer windows where I dont believe they even brought players in. Budget plays a factor. But hey I'm not a big dyche fan but he took them to Europe and kept them in the league for numerous years and was even able to get them promoted so his tactics worked to a certain degree

Without knowing the details (fractured relationship with board maybe?), it appears from the outside as desperate timing and a massive lack of faith.
If the plan is to bank on new manager bounce, then that is a huge gamble.
I wanted them down and out before, but now I want to see them plummet into oblivion without trace (taking, if he is hired, that FSW).
