Dyche sacked

Hope they go down. Because if they don't, we're the team that does.

And if they go down, I'll be happy to see them gone. They're a horrible side with many racist supporters.

I'll welcome Forest back to the big time over Burnley staying up.

Seems an amazingly stupid decision.
Hoping for a new manager bounce but sack Dyche and his whole staff 2 days before the next game and leave a first team player and a bunch of nobodies in charge.
They can't afford Benitez or Allardyce regardless of what the media will say to fuel the betting markets.
If they were interested in staying up they should have sacked him at xmas when they'd had about 2 wins and not sold Wood to Newcastle.
They were forced to sell wood he had a release in his contract

This should have been a glaring warning of things to come: selling Wood, who knew the club and how to play, and replacing him with the cart-horse Weghorst.

I suspect most Burnley fans would feel the opposite. While the football hasn't been attractive, he's kept repeatedly them in the PL on a shoe-string budget.

It may not be what the neutral is wanting to watch from afar, however he's done a good job.
I can't speak for Burnley fans but I don't believe that you ever have to play football like that to survive, small budget or not. It is still a choice.

Look at Norwich as an example of trying to play good football without the quality due to a tight budget. They played good football under Farke, but...

We've had the odd team who have their first year bounce although eventually this comes back to haunt them. The likes of Burnley and Stoke did a job.

Thank you I was going to reply with something similar but you beat me to it. Completely concur

It's not attractive football that non-Burnley fans want to watch and deep down I guess they wanted to see more quality, yet I suspect most would take survival.

Personally, Burnley had actually got better in recent years in terms of their style of football: still not pretty for the eye but there was more creativity in the team.

This year, they've came off the rails and are likely to go down although they've had seven out of eight years in the Prem - that's commendable!

Norwich play bad football.

Look at Saints as an example of actually playing and making a fist of it. Or Brighton who even under Houghton were never this.

It's a choice.

If you take a step back, he won 4 out of 30. You get sacked for that in this league.

Its not that surprising
This, and the board probably see Sam Allardyce fluttering his eyelashes at them from the sidelines. Not the most ridiculous decision. I'd rather Dyche was still at the helm, than Burnley appoint Allardyce. Hope they don't.

Absolutely respectable they typically resort to their ultra conservative route one anti football but theres times like last season against us they were playing pretty fluid attacking football lol so he tries to adapt but the budget is so meager it is truly a feat what he was able to accomplish.

They had like 20 minutes of good football in a decade. He wasn't trying to adapt.
