Dyche sacked

Wilder taking over would make me nervous. OK not the best manager in the world but wouldn’t surprise me if he galvanised Burnley enough to get a few results in the short period of time. Whether enough to save them I don’t know
Why would Wilder leave Boro they are as big and are in with a shout of coming up?

That squad has seven players that will be on the right side of 30 a year from now. They bought three of them this year.

I don't know what Dyche is supposed to do with no funds and no saleable assets. It's a borderline miracle that he kept them up this long. I don't know who they think they will bring in that will keep them up both this season and next. Making a change seems odd. Making it now seems very odd.
Total desperation isn't it?

Surely to do that someone was in line to take over, weird if they haven't imo. 2 days before a massive game nuts

Seems a proper odd decision, especially with the timing and the rumours of Ben Mee(?) being in charge.

I guess they see it as a risk worth taking, if they get that "new manager bounce".

I think they'll drop like a stone, though. I'm talking double relegation, Sunderland style.
