Dychenosaur Poll (2nd Nov 2024)

Dychenosaur in or out?

I do not want him sacked until the new ownership is in place, and have decided on a replacement. The reason being that If it is done beforehand Moshiri will have a say in the matter and I really do not trust his judgement given previous appointments.

92.1% is a huge majority. Pretty much puts it to bed really. Dychettes say a lot to make it seem like there are more of them and not just 7.9%.
This is binary. I’m saying he has done what’s needed doing, but if we have new owners and investment then someone will should come in.
I certainly wouldn’t change him now, but I would at the the end of the season

I'm sick to the back teeth of the fella. A man who is renowned for only using 14 players, and favouring a small circle of trust within his squad. He made a point in an Echo article stating he has final sign off of ALL transfers, he's now brought 12 players to Everton in his tenure. Add that to the 3 ex Burnley lads Keane, Tawkowski and Mcneil already at the club, it's very much a 'Dyche team'. So I don't prescribe to,

> It's not his squad or give him a pass for a lack of quality. (Last summer we signed close to 40m in 2 x 9s he bought, this summer a 19m CB seemingly unused)

Also a small matter of having a chosen luxury of favouring to leave an 85m rated CB on the bench 3 games in a row. Now has Keane played better than his mean average over his 5/6 years at the club (of course yes) but we also conceded 14 goals in the first 4 games. Statistically the data sites despite Tawkowski being short of last seasons form, rate him as Evertons 3rd highest performer to date, and the best performer out the two. The 1 of the only 2 games we won was Statistically his best performance and wait for it, he was next to Branthwaite. Put simply partnerships matter in defence and yet this is ignored to favour some of his favourites. Also led to believe Branthwaite is seemingly unsettled by the selection choice and 'frustrated' with Dyche.

Looking at Form,

7 wins in 11 months
5 wins in the last 31 games (22%)
1 away win in 11 months
2 wins in 10 games this season

He has seemingly fell below Benitez now for win ratio by 3%, in the race to the bottom of Evertons all time worst PL managers, he's now 9 out of 10.

The hope? Well the hope is he is purple patch manager and draws still count. His PL average is 1.3 pts per game, but currently approaching 1/3rd of the way through he is 0.9 ppg this season, on course for maxing at 34pts, entering a dogged run of tough fixtures up till January.

I just don't know how he stays, I think the Branthwaite situation is self harming, the constant martyr approach and regardless of whether he may have truth in his opinion on Fans, being divisive is not helping, that could be debated till the cows come home.

Who sacks him?
Who comes in?

Probably alot will be handled by Charles Gould, Retexo insights, Friedkins data recruitment firm. Either way it's grim, and can only hope things improve.
