I’ve said if we’re out of the relegation places after ten games then he’s doing just about what’s necessary. However when you look at the games thrown away against Villa and Bournemouth, the dreadful start to the season against Brighton and Spurs, the dreadful performance against Fulham and now giving the bottom and worst side in the league their first win, it’s hard to back him. We’re poor but not as poor as he’s making us look.

He's served his purpose now.

Did what was required in first 18 months even if the Football wasn't very good. Deserves huge credit for keeping the club up when he first came in as that would've been a task beyond many managers with the issues he inherited. The squad was also worse than it is now which is the present problem. Last season was tricky for many reasons and the winter period wasn't fun but ultimately very comfortably stayed up.

Very much taken club as far as it can and he'll only do more damage to the season if he's given endless weeks like Lampard was.

It however is a tricky time coming up to decide when to make a change. I think a tipping point might be Wolves but then you have the derby three days later so you can't really put a caretaker in (and who would it be given he has Stone and Woan as the two assistants who would leave with him).

Then after it's Arsenal, Chelsea, Man. City, Forest so awful run to give someone new. January isn't much better either.

I think if it's a loss at West Ham than failing to beat Brentford he's right on the verge as that would be 10 points from 12 games which isn't acceptable given the general run of fixtures. Have 11 days then to get someone in for Wolves at home.

This is binary. I’m saying he has done what’s needed doing, but if we have new owners and investment then someone will should come in.
I certainly wouldn’t change him now, but I would at the the end of the season
We'll be in the Premier League at the beginning of the new season if we allow him to stay to the end of this season?

Its pretty clear there isn't a plan B with Dyche. Its always going to be just 'let the opposition have the ball', then hoof it long to Dom and hope for a corner or set piece. That's it. Its a pretty desperate way of playing football, and while we will trudge our way to picking up the occasional result, there's no way the Friedkins will be impressed or inspired to trust Dyche with taking us forward. I'd fully expect they've already sounded out and lined up his replacement. Surely he knows he's in the shop window right now, so now's the time to impress? There just isn't another plan or strategy in there.

100%

Dyche is on borrowed time. Think he has done what’s required of him, and hindsight will look favourable when we look back and consider how we have been the lowest spenders in the league during his tenure.

The question is…
1 - Sack him now? Bring in anyone we can get, who will want a join a club in a relegation mode, with question mark over the ownership… and hired by people that have not managed to get anything right in the club for - decade.
2 - keep him in until the purchase is complete, the budgets confirmed and the new owners are in a position layout the project.

Sacking him now creates another problem of bringing someone in below par, not neccessarily better and would need sacking when the new owners complete.

Everyone needs to chill their beans. It was a bad loss. But I think we stay up comfortably over the season and build again.

He's on target to win about 7-10 games this season which probably gives us a 50% chance of survival.

Deserves to be sacked as we're very likely going into the new year in the bottom three with the fixtures we have coming up.

He should not be trusted with any money to spend in January.

The new owners simply have to have a new manager in mind and ready to start as soon as he takeover is complete otherwise we're definitely headed for yet another battle to stay up.

Especially now, we simply cannot afford to go down. Relegation this season could genuinely turn us into the next Sunderland or Bolton.

Forest the latest example of a football club that can 'switch' just like that, given the right people involved.

It should put an end to this dissenting voices that think we can't get up the league given the right people (instead of Dyche for starters).
It should also give us hope for the future.

The club themselves have held themselves back for a generation under Kenwright and this runs through the club like diahorrea. Which is of course why Dyche is so well thought of at the club because they think he's doing a wonderful job.

That was a miss click and you know it, it was obviously meant to be shouldn’t dont be a tit all your life

Every time I post something about you, you put that post up, try and find another one. The survey was obviously bull [Poor language removed].

Well, that's only the second time I've done it, and it was in response to you tagging me on the same subject.

We've ran the survey for 6 years, over 3,000 completed it and the results are what they are.

At the same time of that survey you find to be bonkers now, you said he over achieved last season.

Even if we just take this point;

He’s a competent manager, who took over from an extremely poor manager. And done his job as Roy Keane would say. I said months ago I’d expect this squad, with mostly a fully fit squad to be 13th to 16th. Ao hes slightly over achieved, he’s not a miracle worker and should be manager of the year. He’s a steady hand for now. But new owners should be preparing for BMD and looking for better

... we had another summer of making a profit in the window.

We've not had a fully fit squad.

So shock, we're exactly where you think we should be.

We also don't have the new owners.

You'd think new owners would put pressure on mosh to dump this clown
I would guess there have been off the record conversations. They cannot be happy about the effect that 2 wins in 10 and being turned over by the worst team in the league will have on their massive transaction that is close to completion. There is probably a lot going on behind the scenes.
