I forgot about Klopp's number 2 leaving a few weeks ago.

Will be interesting to see how this impacts them next season as he was widely known as the brains of the operation. Will Klopp struggle to get the initial set up right for games or will he not know how to change things if it all starts going tits up?

If they get off to a slow start next season I can see the pressure building on him very quickly

Interesting point this, wasnt he linked with a decent sides managers job? Wouldnt suprise me if he was the brains behind the operation and Klopp was taking all the credit.

I wouldn’t go that far but it can only have a negative impact . If I’m not mistaken Klopp is the coach/motivator/man manager but the other guy was the tactitian.

Klopp the german Tim Sharewood

See this is one thing Klopp might be good at, getting players and everyone else up for the match, over the last 3 years the fans, who have always been cringeworthy wool idiots, have gone OTT even by there standards, i think he is partly the reason for this plastic passion.
Stark contrast to us perhaps who have been managed by dour idiots who have sucked the life out of the fan base

Their recruitment team have been there since FSG bought the club,Comolli brought most of them with him as he knew them in his time at Spurs.

Amazingly most of them started out working with BFS at Bolton and went with him at Blackburn as he was one of the first British manager to get in analytics in the early 00's

FSG do their baseball recruitment on the same analytical process,if Klopp goes they will all still be there as FSG trust that way of recruitment.

Real Madrid don't even do analytics they just sign the best players to fit a position they are in need of,same with Barca Bayern Juve.

The only notable clubs who do Analytics i know of are the RS Spurs Southampton Leipzig and Atletico.

I wonder if Brands is into analytics or is he all about the old trusted method of pure scouting,PSV have always been reknowned for getting young talent from the south american countries, but in Holland the rules are more relaxed in work permits than over here.

You mean they'll continue yobsign morenos, solankes, klavans, kariuss, wijnaldums, Virgil vam donkeys?

Blimey, those analysts have access to some powerful data.

Got excited when I saw that Klopp was Real Madrid's new first choice

Then I saw it was on the Daily Express website

FFS, carry on everyone, nothing to see there
I think we need to see him stay. As others have mentioned, it's far from clear whether he's a tactician of note himself now that his long-time cohort Buvac has been turfed out. And I tend to think he has the stink of loser about him that will be hard to shake off.

I want him to stay for sure, no chance of them doing anything significant, but one thing he will do is increase the belief, which is fine, higher that gets, the further it has to fall when it all comes crashing down

The Kopites utterly humiliated and slapped down in front of a watching worldwide audience and Everton getting a management team in that gives us hope for the future. Such weeks are like hens teeth in the life of an Evertonian, we can all surely be permitted a few more days to savour that last one?
Very well said davek. We all need to milk every drop from the last week or so.
The last seven days have been the best of our long, painful season.

I tend to think he just has a stink about anyway, scruffy kopite cheerleading bellend

Pump up the expectation ----> deliver's f.a.

Suits me.

Indeed ..like Moyes, Martinez, Koeman etc etc ...will take us at least 5 years ...love the smell of Silva...

Still living with a sense of absolute euphoric happiness.

:pint2:

Worked and then went home on the magic night of the "great kopite cry-a-thon" , but have been out on the pop every day bar Wednesday even if I've been working it's straight the pub after. The joyless few which have meekly shown their faces have certainly lost the usual rancour which they viciously spout. Even my missus who's a red has kept it piped down this week, I never want this to end :D:pint2::pint2::pint2:

I'm in the pub typing this now :drunk::drunk::drunk:
