Barcelona will just outscore anyone. They're pretty much head and shoulders above the rest - just like Madrid were last season.

I'm very happy with the outcome tonight. Liverpool dont get to concentrate on the PL, and I see them falling way short in the CL anyway.

I get what you're saying but there's 2 English sides in there that struggle at Anfield. Ajax/Porto won't trouble Liverpool. That leaves a injury ravaged United and the possibility of Barce/Juve tie.

Much preferred them going out tonight. My dread is they draw City again.

Yep, both City and Barcelona are on a different level. I think City just shade it, but have a lack of CL experience.

I hope the RS draw United and it is absolute carnage in both games.

There's a lot of ifs and buts in there. Can they win it? Yes. Is it likely? No. I'd put them at no more than about 6/1.

More harm than good came out of that tonight for them.

It’s catch 22, I am sort of glad cos they can’t concentrate on the league now with City in a million competitions. But, you just know they will get Ajax or Porto which is a bye for that mob to another semi-final.

Juventus will win this cup though. I got money on Atletico and Juve at the start of the season for it, Juve are absolutely Desperate with a capital D to win this, it’s been 20 odd years since they won it, they’ve got the title sewn up already, and to knock out a class Atletico side with a 2 goal deficit is what champions do, and shows they can walk the walk.

Dave, I unfortunately have to advise that Barça are quite flawed and could go out to any of the teams bar maybe Porto. Lots were very nervy about that game tonight.

I don't want them lot in the next round.....I'd actually be anxious from the moment of the drawn until the tie was done at the thought of them eliminating Barça. This seasons been crap enough as it is.

I hope they get juve or man u

You could argue the ifs and buts with either argument. A favourable draw and its opening up again. I wanted them gone tonight then they have no chance rather than a 6/1 chance.

Listen, I really hope you're right and I'm spectacularly wrong but they're getting a little too close for comfort to winning something major.

Treble chasing Barcelona are quite flawed. 8 points ahead in La Liga and conceded 6 goals in the CL so far scoring 19.

I think that might be the case.

I still have them as favourites to win the PL (just), but the CL is way beyond them. This was a poor poor Bayern team that needs rebuilding.
