ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

They could easily start buzzing off that and lose intensity in the PL. You know what they're like about the European Cup: desperate to get a pat on the head and a hug off the pundits that they're "European Royalty".
it annoys me that despite our winning the European Cup Winners Cup, the pundits and commentators don't treat our team as Europe Royalty...it really is very disheartening that the likes of Capt Jags, Bainesy, Seamus etc don't get the accolades they deserve.

I have my doubts about you.

Barcelona will just outscore anyone. They're pretty much head and shoulders above the rest - just like Madrid were last season.

I'm very happy with the outcome tonight. Liverpool dont get to concentrate on the PL, and I see them falling way short in the CL anyway.

A good night. I'll bank that one.

Except Madrid were not head and shoulders above the rest last season. It took a lot of luck and moments of individual brilliance for them to win it. Pretty much everyone ITK has been predicting their melt down for awhile.

Inappropriate Behaviour
There's a lot of ifs and buts in there. Can they win it? Yes. Is it likely? No. I'd put them at no more than about 6/1.

More harm than good came out of that tonight for them.
More harm than good? They literally went through. You don't half talk some [Poor language removed] tbf.

Treble chasing Barcelona are quite flawed. 8 points ahead in La Liga and conceded 6 goals in the CL so far scoring 19.

Were are they flawed d'you think?

Well I watch them every week. It's an odd season with both Madrid teams struggling to find any form and fluency, so they are clear on top by just being a good bit more consistent. Barça give up a lot of chances and when it comes to the big games there is no guarantee of big performances from the RB position, 2 out of 3 of whoever the midfield starters would be or 2 out of 3 of the front three starters.

They've not been majorly tested this season so far to be honest. I'm hoping for another cup for Messi, but it will need him at his best to do it.

Anyways, let's hope whoever they get puts them out. The sweetest would be Man U, as that would drive them all crazy.
