I work with a load of Liverpool and Man Utd fans and it really sticks in the throat to see them banging on about the CL draw all morning and getting all giddy while this club sits a million miles away from that level. Three North West clubs in the draw, we really are the very poor relations.

And I really don't why some on here keep insisting this or that team will 'defo' beat the RS as they are usually wrong. Knowing how fortunate that shower are I totally dismiss any 'assurances' about who will beat them until they are actually out.

No way Barca resting anyone in the semis (if they beat Utd) - they're more likely to rest them in the league which they'll have tied up by then.

I'm absolutely delighted with it.

That's another 4 games in this competition and they'll be like a ball and chain around their ankles in trying to win the PL.

...and they still wont win the CL. Barcelona will take no messing about this season with Madrid out the way. They're hungry and have their eyes on a historic treble only ever completed by Guardiola's 2008/09 team and Enrique's 2015/16 team. Valverde and his players will be burning passionately to go down in history.

Hopefully United will be resting players for the league game v City and that Barca will rest players for the semi (if they get past United). Liverpool to have to be at full throttle every game and hopefully drop a ball once or twice to end their season.

Yeah I was thinking this, United have to lose vs City, also be good if Spurs can knock them out.
This draw isn't so bad, just hope Ajax go out to ensure the final is hard if the make it that far

That's the worst part of it. Personally I don't care what any of those clubs (or any other club) do.

It's futile in the CL, IMO. Only one team's going to win that this season. Four energy sapping, injury-inducing games for Liverpool.
