ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

I have a feeling that Liverpool would actually beat Barcelona. Barca are a good team but they aren't as strong as they once were (Messi is carrying them), and they also an arrogant side who would leave their defence exposed like City did last season.

I might be weird, but if they did fluke the CL, (every cup win by anyone ever has some fluke involved), I am not that arsed. Dont get me wrong, I dont want them to win it, but in Kopite minds, its their nearly 30 years of League Winners absence that stings more.

Maybe its the similar feeling that United fans have with not being arsed if/WHEN City win the league instead of that lot.

You’re talking out of your hoop, mate. Teams like City and Liverpool beat other teams because they’re miles better than them. Liverpool wouldn’t have accumulated as many points as they have if they weren’t a very good team. Pointless denying it. Makes you look clueless.
I meant not that good compared to let's say Arsene Wengers Arsenal sides, in the 2000s, or United's teams in the late 2000s and 1990s, nor are they anywhere near Man City last season. Look at their team in 2013/2014, Suarez, Sterling, Sturridge, Gerrard, Agger, Coutiniho even Skirtel was wanted by Barca recently. They destroyed us, United, beat Spurs 5-0 away from home and 4-0 at home, thrashed Arsenal 5-1 and beat City. Beat West Brom 4-1, Fulham 4-0, Norwich 5-1 and so on.
We would of got a result against them if it wasn't for a Pickford mistake and we're far worse now than we were then. They lost 3 of their group games, in one of those games the player who scored against them works part time in his dad's shop, plus if Napoli hadn't missed a sitter in the 91st minute they'd be out. What's happened is teams like us are spending huge amounts of money on s***e players so it seems like the standard of football is going up when it isn't. Just because Celtic have dominated the SPL from 2012, doesn't mean they're a great team, it just means the other teams are crap. Any time a team put's in any effort such as us a few weeks ago and West Ham and Leicester previously they s**t themselves. City are a great side though probably one of the best teams I've seen at GP.
