Please explain if turnover includes player sales why the Club don't include them in their audited accounts at companies house.

Its semantics quite honestly.

Turnover is the income an entity takes in a set period. Player trading is accounted for differently but at the end of the day it's still basically turnover.

Laymen terms @Steve0 as an example.

The whole transfer fee is spread over the length of the contract and amortization is made yearly. To give an example a player is bought for 50 million pounds over a five year contract, the transfer value is amortized for 10 million pounds every year.

You'll find that clubs do that Steven, it balances the books better and plan better financially knowing you're getting or buying a steady set amount every year from amortization of tranfer fees.

You're talking about purchases there.

Sales are recognized immediately. I think you'll find.
