Yeah, there is a gap widening in the last could of years and its now in 3 stages. Anyone outside the top 9 now is just trying to get to 40 points and it's turning terribly dull. We get about 6 or 7 home games out of 19 every season where teams come to Goodison to play for a point.

Teams like Bournemouth have shown you can have lower league players, but have a go and you can stay up, and do it for a few years without a problem. Swansea did the same and only got relegated when they started to get asset stripped.
Wolves?

It's the last "big" test. IIRC you mentioned last night that after Burnley City have a lot of time to rest up for the last two. I doubt Guardiola will have failed to hammer that home to City's players. I get the impression that Fernandinho might miss the Sunday game but if not serious they'll get him on the pitch for the last two come what may. Gundogan is a good player to come in though. I wouldn't rule out KDB making Sunday too. It's so close to the season's end with no major international tournament in the summer that I'm sure the chance will be taken.

After they took Fernandinho off and played Gundogan deeper, they where a different team and tore united apart. They won't need to be too defensive against Burnley, whos secret weapon is a past it Peter Crouch.

It’s like 8 clean sheets in last 11 wins or something as well. They even beat Spurs in the CL when they went out (they battered them that game). Which makes the media treatment of them ridiculous. It’s all been about how shaky City were going to slip up and even now they are building Burnley up to be prime Mourinho’s Inter, and Leicester are suddenly the best counterattacking team the world has seen. Of course City could slip up but if City play anything like they’ve done in the last 11 games then they win both easily. Yet to hear the media narrative around it you’d think that Liverpool are some relentless machine crushing all before them whilst City are edging every game. The reality is that it’s been the other way round since January.
You've changed your tune. Good to see.

Still 3 huge games for both teams left. End of season fixtures do weird things to teams. Remember Liverpool in 13/14 were in a far better position with 3 games left than City are now so it’s not over. Burnley will be difficult as they will be pressure free and City are racking up injuries. I’m hoping City have no option but to start with Sane and Sterling and blow Burnley away quickly.
I might have been premature with my previous post.
