ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

The kopite rag the mirror already leading calls for a three match ban for Silva. That paper has shown its colours this season, an absolute propaganda mouthpiece for them.

I might be wrong but isn't one of their main sports writers Darren Lewis a Liverpool fan? He's an absolute bellend of the highest order and permanently sounds like he's about to burst into tears when I've heard him get torn to bits on Talksport for one of his moronic opinions.

Imagine the world in a few weeks if ex Liverpool manager Rodgers and his Leicester team have been rolled over by City, ex Liverpool manager Rafael has taken points off his previous employer and contributed to City's title win, Barcelona have smashed them all over the place and King Salah is the first of a few to slap in transfer requests. Shirts being burnt AOTS and seats being ripped up as they show their true colours.

Please lord, you know what to do.

City have beaten Spurs and Utd within a week. This was their big test.... no chance they'll mess it up now.
Don't tempt fate. Leicester are a very dangerous team. You saw in the first half how nervous City were and how Kompany was all over the place. Vardy can get in behind them and is one of the best finishers in the league. How would they react a goal down knowing they must win? Burnley are on form but hopefully them now being all but safe is a good sign for City. Brighton, if City can't smash them then they don't deserve the title on that alone.

I remember it well, Dec 27th RS 5-1 Arsenal. Went my wife's cousins 50th he and all his kopite mates got up on stage singing songs about conquering this and that it was embarrassing, he'll be thinking about that come the end of the season, especially when he see's me and I say [Poor language removed] all.:drunk:

We were in the minibus coming back from our defeat at Brighton, pulled over for petrol when they were getting beat 1-0, filled the van up went and paid and by the time I came back they were winning 2-1, deffo thought it was all over after that game.

yes mate it was a totally miserable day

2 clean sheets aswell

It’s like 8 clean sheets in last 11 wins or something as well. They even beat Spurs in the CL when they went out (they battered them that game). Which makes the media treatment of them ridiculous. It’s all been about how shaky City were going to slip up and even now they are building Burnley up to be prime Mourinho’s Inter, and Leicester are suddenly the best counterattacking team the world has seen. Of course City could slip up but if City play anything like they’ve done in the last 11 games then they win both easily. Yet to hear the media narrative around it you’d think that Liverpool are some relentless machine crushing all before them whilst City are edging every game. The reality is that it’s been the other way round since January.
