Liverpool could end up another season empty handed yet Salah and Van Dijk have been player of the year. If I was Bernardo Silva Sterling or Laporte I’d be fuming. Second is no better than fourth. What's a couple million quid to these teams spending 75m on individual players? Both places go directly into the Champions League group stage. To finish on 97 points will be a dagger to the heart of Liverpool if it doesn't get them the title. salah will go regardless, anything close to 150m they will sell, barca cant sign him until 2020 so it will have to be madrid.

Firmino and Salah might only have another season or two at the level they’re at, better Liverpool keep them into their decline rather than selling for world record fees allowing them to rebuild .

This is a great point, they get these fees and reinvest in talent, it has to stop or eventually they will over take city
