ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

The officiating is corrupt. There's no question about it. However, the bigger picture is this: if City beat Leicester tomorrow, there's no amount of official bias that can change the outcome of that final game versus Brighton - it'll be out of sight by HT. Then from next season the corruption will be substantially reduced with VAR being brought in.

It's just all down to tomorrow night.

Early January Liverpool had this in the bag. Now City can end their season - at home against a team 9th in the league - in 90 minutes.

Here's hoping. City have quietly gone about their business all season, playing both opposition and officials, and are still set to win the league - the vermin have had luck/satan/referee's on their side and still *hopefully* won't win the league.

....I remember last time they were going for the title and it appeared like Clattenburg was officiating lots of key games on the run-in. I wonder if something similar is happening now.

If referees were corrupt it would come out. If just one is ‘sympathetic’ to the cause it’s less likely to be uncovered. I doubt any Premier League referee has formally agreed to give them decisions, but they become part of the LFC bandwagon that is SkyTV. Brainwashed, just as Clattenburg was taken out for a meal by Gerrard and Carragher.

The only hope we have is Man City but I genuinely fear it’s all over. I’m convinced their first Premier title is now won.

Wouldn't you rather he said they didn't than they will though? Let's be honest at 1 point they were clear favourites and now it's on Citys hands.

That's what we all want yeah?
Of course it is, I'm just surprised he's saying it now when he kept saying Liverpool were a shoe in to win it.

I really hope that this is just a case of Liverpool being freakishly good and not doping or match fixing. If it turns out to be the case, I'll probably give up on football entirely. :(

With 8 days to prepare for this game aganst Leicester I expect City to be high energy and creating a lot of chances. They'll take about 3 of them, maybe more.

It's City's biggest game of the season. It really is a mammoth task for Leicester. Let's get things into perspective on this next game.

Just see the foul that left their winner, what's that linesman thinking, right in front of him and gives that as a foul, as a blatant dive as you'll see. I don't know how anyone one couldn't see that as a blatant dive, you do have to wonder when we've seen this happening all season that the powers that be have an agenda in wanting Liverpool to win the league.

The top and bottom of it mate is that they've been given EVERY decision for them time after time

And City will still win the league with 2 wins

That'll hurt them bad because no way on earth next season will the dives and cheating be allowed to go again with VAR

Unreal dive to win the free kick last night. Was I surprised it was awarded.... Nope.

They've honestly won about 20 points from poor ref decisions and diving this season.

That free kick decision gets worse every time you watch it. It's just thoroughly depressing how often this has gone in their favour, in the league and Champions League all season. They really aren't anything special, we are a pretty average team and one error aside we were completely comfortable in 2 matches against them this season. The fact they have over 90 points despite their lack of quality tells you everything you need to know about how lucky they are.

Please city, you've got to smash Leicester, her da, for about the 3rd time has sent me that picture of Klopp standing in front of the league with a goofy grin, he also just sent one of VVD as a giant and all other players hanging off them

I seriously can't wait for this season to be put to bed with city as the winners

Agree 100% with that, but what boils my piss is that the linesman is about 5 yrds away the same with the WH game the other month, and they still get it so wrong there is no excuse other than blatant bias in Liverpools favour. A lad I know says the same thing about the refs in rugby league bias towards the top teams so it seems it's not just football.
