ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

Of course it is, I'm just surprised he's saying it now when he kept saying Liverpool were a shoe in to win it.

I really hope that this is just a case of Liverpool being freakishly good and not doping or match fixing. If it turns out to be the case, I'll probably give up on football entirely. :(

tbf that's because it's been advantage rs for about 3 months and let's be honest, when they were 10 points clear it looked completely over.

Its in Citys own hands now and if you'd been told that it would be a few months ago and who they would have to win against to win the league, you'd say City are clear favourites

No way are the rs doping or anything like that, it's just unbelievable officiating in certain games that have assisted in a massing such a points total.

Agree 100% with that, but what boils my piss is that the linesman is about 5 yrds away the same with the WH game the other month, and they still get it so wrong there is no excuse other than blatant bias in Liverpools favour. A lad I know says the same thing about the refs in rugby league bias towards the top teams so it seems it's not just football.

The one yesterday mate there really is no defence of it is there. The west ham one was a disgrace but you could see how he made the mistake because he wasn't doing his job and was instead just enjoying a game of togger lol

I hope City dive and cheat their way to two comfortable wins now to the league, that'll boil their piss to volcanic levels of ferocity lol

This week decides everything there has been a depressing cloud hanging over us for 6 months and if the worst happens at least it will be done with. The dread of it happening is almost worse than the event itself roll on June /July so we can wake up in the morning just worrying about mundane things.
The only positive is they are probably underdogs in both competitions , City worry me I just hope they can blitz leicester quickly as when they don't get an early goal the nerves seem to kick in.
As for the other game logic says Barcelona will score but at the pit teams and referees crumble so you cant right them off.

Of course we could have the perfect end to the season where they end up with nothing and all the anxiety from the last 6 months will be washed away with a wave of ecstasy.

The old saying a picture paints a thousand words has never been more true....

It´s the not knowing that kills me. Even today we´re forced to wait for City to play. Everything just seems needlessly prolonged.

I keep saying though, City have to beat Leicester and Brighton and Barcelona have a 3 goal lead. You´d have taken all this at the time Liverpool drew Porto in the quarters.

Nah, in RL they're just biased against Warrington (TONGUE FIRMLY IN CHEEK HERE lollollol)

Why is everyone so worried about City? They've not lost or drawn in ages.
If it was any other club going head to head with city for the title, city would be clear favourites. But there is anxiety because it’s the RS and due to the disgraceful catalogue of decisions going for the RS we have every right to be worried. For what’s it worth my neighbour is a City ST holder, he was only worried about the United game (as they still had a chance for 4th) he thinks the title’s in the bag.
