ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

I'll be honest here like, I would actually like to see Liverpool win something this year. In fact I cannot wait until the 1st June, when hopefully they will climb up the steps at the Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid, and be presented with the inaugural, Premier League Champions League Double Runners-Up Cup

Wishful thinking mate) would make my dreams come true if they get nothing! It’s all I want in life just for them to not win anything right now.

Yeah, ok mate. Still fudging my initial question though. Why are you so reticent to answer?
I'm not. I answered. You have no logical basis for your crowing here: the reason the Liverpool win is being toasted so much is why? Because it was from 3-0 down to a very good team. Do you think it'd be the toast of town if they'd hauled the deificit back against Porto or some other average CL team?

They were mullered on the night. Ordinarily, though, they'd beat Liverpool in any amount of games you could choose for them to play. They are not a vintage Barcelona team, no. That was never claimed. The claim was that they had the chance to make history and join those vintage teams as record equals.

I hope this answers your question.

I'm sick of seeing it on social media, not so much by genuine reds, but its all the dickheads who never post and talk about football, because they dont care about it, sudddenly talking about it, its pathetic, ive had to remove facebook and twitter from my phone to avoid looking at it

On the bbc news channel just now the lead presenter " and now for the sport, and even if you are not a liverpool fan you couldnt help but enjoy last night "

Bell end.

I'll be affected by that when they have a trophy in their hands. As things stand, they have swet f.a.

They're about to have "their" title snatched out of their hands on Sunday and then they face a team who can beat them in the final if they have a good night. I grant you it isn't as good as Barcelona doing their job last night and seeing these out of the CL, but they have a long long way to go yet to crow about anything. "Best come back of all time Pt II"? Great. Let the nobheads have it. They're easily pleased.

If / when Sunday brings us the right result they'll realise that they yet again have failed to win the biggest prize of all...then they'll start feeling the pressure of winning that CL final rather than celebrating scraping through a SF. Sunday is key: they lose the title it'll have big ramifications for them.

It's the whole 'We are Liverpool, we are the best club in the wurrrrrld' that irks me. Like it's going anything to do with you fat Linda. All you did was jump around in your kitchen whilst swigging a blue WKD. Pipe down.

Tbf i thinkt that was the point.
