To be fair to them, I can't think of many other seasons where 97 points wouldn't win you the League

It doesnt have the same sting to it that the league does, not with me anyrate. Its prestigious, obvs, but all it ultimately proves is they beat Spurs in a one off match. The winners of the league are The Best Team That Whole Season.

I genuinely don't care about the CL. I mean it'd be hilarious if they lost, but I'm not that fussed if they don't. Said it yesterday - we hear about Istanbul and "5 times" every 15 minutes anyway, so it's not like anything will change.
They'll never admit it, but the League is the one they wanted. They were 10pts clear of City at one point, and blew it.
And WE were the ones that ultimately took it out of their hands.

They're hurting and I'm happy and you know some of them would still be gutted about the league even if they win the CL. If they won the league and lost the CL they wouldn't be as arsed.
