ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

If there’s one thing I love right now it’s going on Facebook and seeing Liverpool fan pages pop up in my feed bleating about city for one reason or the other.

‘They sang songs about us’
‘They had a trophy presentation at 11pm with no mics and the sound was dreadful’
‘They bought the league’
‘My dad wants to wear a city shirt for our BDSM sessions’

Straight in my veins.

Who cares?. I’d give my left testicle to see Everton in the Champions League. At this moment in time, just qualifying for the thing would be amazing. Making the final is the stuff of dreams.

I agree, obviously I'd be over the moon. And credit where credits due, the RS have a very good team. But ultimately winning the league is a far bigger achievement than winning a competition they've already lost 4 games in.

See: the guy with the Palestine flag in his bio calling people mongs. Can't remember if it was Liverpool-related though.

I think a lot of it is because Evra played for United and United are a Team We Don't Like. The same person said people who accused Salah of diving were just 'bitter'. I admit I'm no football expert, but even I know a blatant dive when I see one, and some of Salah's are pretty blatant.

And if I was Colin, I'd be furious with whoever that Cardiff player was who basically helped Liverpool by giving away a free kick, after what he said about how he really wanted them to win the league.

I think the guy in question blocked me, for asking him to defend his stance of using the term "mongrel" against other human beings. That was too much for that particular radical. Don't attack the Nazi's whatever you do!

Not a chance they finish close to the same amount of points next year. City will spend in the summer and nobody will get close for a good few years. Klopp will end up at Bayern I think. Kovac is already under pressure and whilst he might not be tempted this time around I just can't see him turning down the biggest job in his native country and his biggest chance at success.

He seems to work in 5 year stints. Next year is his 5th. I think not winning the league will hit them quite hard.

Not for me mate. I'd absolutely love seeing Everton back in the Champions League. In modern day football the likes of the FA Cup are worthless. You get the magic of the cup drummed in to your ears when in reality some league one side has just booted you all over the pitch, scored off a long throw and then we've been treated to ''WHO AREEEE YAAAAA'' from a set of fans pulled straight from the depths of kin Mordor.

Fake club was the wrong wording I'll give you that. But I'm not going to bend over for them like a fair few did for the other Mancs for years because of some misplaced enemy of my enemy stuff. As far as I'm concerned f*** them all. Tired of cheer leading others success, I want it for us instead.
So does every Everton fan mate but I won't begrudge City their success and it's nothing to do with the rs, they had had times the City supporters 2 relegations in the doldrums for years so good luck to them for me.

See that City song is now the cause of outrage (inc the Echo) as they sing getting battered in the streets.............Of course that now means they are singing about Sean Cox.

One of them though, why even sing about them after winning the league? Sing about your own club. There isn't a bigger attention seeking fanbase around, they think the world revolves around them. Somebody knocks over a glass in town and they should donate to the Sean Cox fund. You know nobody should be getting attacked at a football match, what happened to that fella was a disgrace and the people who did it should be doing some serious jail time. I seriously doubt anybody is mocking him one way or another.

We've certainly entered in to a new ''banter'' phase in football though. Don't remember it all being so small time. It's been far nastier in the past but these days in the age of social media everybody is a bad flump. Every one scrambling for likes and thumbs up and in the mean time everything gets blown wildly out of proportion.

Dunno about anyone else, but I'm getting seriously sick to the gills with all this 'slave owners' twaddle

That goon who was attacking Sterling for betraying his 'brothers' by playing for slave owners

I swear, to listen to it you'd think City were rocking up to the match up the River Irwell in a frigging galley ship, with the players lashed to the oars and a laughing Pep beating time on a huge drum

They wouldn't give a monkey's colon if they found out FSG were financing the systematic destruction of the ozone layer as long as they could keep Salah and Van Dijk, don't let's kid ourselves here
Something like that would get you banned on here, but apparently acceptable on RAWK. Like a lot of Liverpool fans they seem to get confused about whether they like Black people or foreigners or they don't. See their treatment of Evra , Collymore and other Black players. I've heard them make racist comments about lot's of their own players, I've seen them abuse a group of Indian fellas minding their own business while watching their match, they're a special type of stupid. The most idiotic about them is about how they boast about having fans from all over the world, then start complaining about "p***s and c****s taking their tickets". To refer to Man City's owners as slave owners and complain about Sterling not voting for one of their players, suggesting he isn't supporting Black people is one of the most ridiculous accusations you can make.
I know there's idiots in every fan base, but I've never really seen our fans fight after us losing a big game, when they lose a big game there's constant trouble, look at Athens, Basel, Chelsea a few years ago. Yes I've heard drunk fellas say racist things towards Black and Asian stewards at Everton away games, but a lot of that is to do with ale. I remember an Everton fan saying a few racist things in the Park End a few years back against , but he was drinking a bottle of water, with the water tipped out and filled with Vodka or a clear spirit, he was off his head. I remember a Liverpool fan on the bus saying all racist things about Everton and Man United players to his I presume grandson, then saying how great certain Black Liverpool players are. They don't see the irony.

The Sean Cox thing was awful, singing about it is awful, but that lot have no moral ground to take, point out any wrongdoing by them and it an attack on the fella or you are referencing Hillsborough, any wrongdoing by them gets turned into whataboutism
