ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

That's pure anger from City players at being portrayed for months and months by the media as a nuisnace who wouldn't let Liverpool break their PL duck. They earned the right to vent about that. That has to have been aimed at the BBC and the other Liverpool cheerleader football media who obviously and desperately denied City any fair coverage. I hope they all watch it and it grinds their gears even more.

Careful now Dave, there is OUTRAGE.

Dunno about anyone else, but I'm getting seriously sick to the gills with all this 'slave owners' twaddle

That goon who was attacking Sterling for betraying his 'brothers' by playing for slave owners

I swear, to listen to it you'd think City were rocking up to the match up the River Irwell in a frigging galley ship, with the players lashed to the oars and a laughing Pep beating time on a huge drum

They wouldn't give a monkey's colon if they found out FSG were financing the systematic destruction of the ozone layer as long as they could keep Salah and Van Dijk, don't let's kid ourselves here

True, there is that.

However, given that we’ve been pretty hopeless for so long, I’d sooner keep a low profile and refrain from crowing about them not winning the league and stuff. Obviously, it hasn’t always been this way. Things were very different in, say, the Eighties. We were successful in own right and held our own with them. In those days, I felt entirely comfortable giving as good as I got.
My daughter often says 'You do what you do and I'll do what I do'. She'd probably say the same to you if she read your ramblings.

ENOUGH.. PLEASE PLEASE STOP..

In work, a fella, genuine Scouser and red..

" If it was 1981 and still 2 points for a win, we'd have won that "

I can't handle this much more...
You should tell him that if we hadn't introduced VAR then they probably would have been given the goal against City and City might not have been given the goal against Burnley. Make him feel really good about life.

The fact that they're using his tragedy as a weapon speaks volumes about them. They know fully well that City players would never sing a song about him. "Hey Sergio, fancy singing a song to take the piss out of that Sean Cox fella? As if that would ever happen!!". They're using one of their own getting stabbed to gain some weird, imaginary moral high ground on the internet.
This is a new low for them and that's saying something!
They had a witch hunt against Kevin Campbell a while back saying he was mocking the incident because he said Coma once on Twitter, pathetic

I read a bit about heysel and I don’t know why it’s not given any footage when compared to hillsborough...was it normal back then? Football hooliganism ?
You tell us, you're educated to at least a masters level- the research shouldn't be taxing. If you think this will be used to baiting actual scousers into talking down Hillsboro, you're very much mistaken.

I swear they're getting worse. Worryingly, I'm not seeing any other RS fans calling them out on it. It's not just a few, it's most of them behaving this way.
