They’ve literally been calling on their owners to buy the league for years. Then they actually have a go at it, spend more than any team in history in a single year, come up short, so loan about the legacy spending of City and how it’s unfair. Good grief. It’s like complaining about a greedier pig at the trough. Ridiculous.

How about own goals being -1 . Goals scored with the "weaker" foot counting as 3. A goal scored by the goalie from a clearance automatically winning the league . Even on day 1 . The list is endless.

Or the easy , sensible option . Attain more points than any other team :hayee:

All the pubs are only toeing the official Liverpudlian Football line...

Turf out the locals and flog the the tickets to anyone else far and wide. You can then load your bar up with "cringe worthy tat" that even Del Boy could never flog on his best day, and the mentalists will fall all over themselves to give up all their hard earned reddies for a "miniature mo Salah wak-a-mole" or some Naby Keira adult nappies... Wack the beer up thrice the price plus with the stench of piss you could almost be in the kop....

How about goals for a team who everyone else hates counted as an own goal? That shower would be playing in Walton Hall Park after a few years!

The media have made it worse. The amount of coverage a team who have won nothing of note for 13 years is outrageous and they have had about 5 successful seasons in the last 30 years. It allows their knob fans to buy into this special and entitled nonsense. Were Huddersfield getting this coverage in the 50s and 60s cos they won a few pots in the 30's?

The reaction to them "winning" the league by not having as many points as the champions has been the most bizarre thing I've ever seen in sport.

It truly is, fans demanding a special 2nd place trophy, it's weird.
