So basically if it sounds right it is right. A union. An onion.
Long U is a (a union)
Short U is an (an uninvited guest).

H is also an interesting one. I say ‘a history assignment’ but would say ‘an historic agreement’...

They’re not great away from Anfield. Even some of the wins in the premier league away from hom in the run in at Fulham Newcastle Cardiff Southampton were not convincing at all and they are all much worse than Spurs.

Liverpool will fly out pumped up after weeks of the media telling them they’re European royalty and Spurs won’t live with them. There’ll come a point after the first 20 mins though where Spurs players will realise that you can get at this Liverpool team and then will start playing their own game. If they can avoid conceding early then the final is there for them if they want it. I don’t think either team are good enough to put the other one away out of the game. It will be tight.
They lost 4 CL games away this season, dumped out the cup by Wolves, and the league cup, at home they seem unstoppable but away not so much.

I've spent the whole week - I'm at a conference- in the company of a Kopite who knows the person I'm with from previous years.(I think he might fancy her) An Analfield steward no less. Jesus wept. He is a tit. He knows Jamie Carragher laaa via some tenuous family connection. How unfortunate for you I said. No mate Jamie's sound. he replied. Last night whilst out having a meal he rocked up in a Liverpool top and sang some Liverpool FC songs while waiting for his tea to arrive. Mods apologies for the language but f""" me I need a medal for not being in court for GBH this morning and for keeping my bitter blue heart under control all week. I have consumed much vodka....

There was a fella with two dogs at the park the other day. He let them both off the lead. The first one ran around in circles, madly barking at no one and done three craps. The other dog sat quietly by its owner looking up as if to say why did you bring that prick with us.
Ther'es a kopite mentality in a lot of dogs.

There is some sense with this, but I can't completely go along with it. I was hoping they'd bottle the title a bit more than they did, but to be fair they won a lot of high pressure games, which I fear will help them in the final. You also have to factor in that Spurs are perennial bottlers. They are a better version of us under Moyes really. They rarely win big games.

That being said I do think this break will be unhelpful for them and quite good for Spurs. Not only can Spurs get their players back fit which is a big plus but the sense of expectation and nerves can only be eating away at Liverpool. I sense it with their supporters too. They seem far less brash than last year. I think they know this year they have it all to lose as opposed to it all to gain. If they were to lose it will be a lot harder to brush off and "go again".

The hope has to be that Spurs can stay in the game. It needs to be a tight game really. And hopefully Liverpool's nerves will kick in. My suspicion is Liverpool have too much quality though and the occasion gets to Spurs.

It was the shear dehumanization of the people there. Look at the problems Chelsea had with their neighbours because they are not poor and could argue their case. Around Anfield they could be forced from their homes and no one raised a finger. The people turned out were no more than a rodent problem to that club.

Despicable.

It was also the complete silence (and therefore approval) of the RS fans which made it especially egregious.

They like to portray themselves as this uber left wing collective, the last mohican of 'old football', standing against corporate giants but when it came down to an abuse of power they absolutely could have done something about they chose to do nothing.

Oh families having to sell for 15k with 20k left on their mortgage? Increase in house prices mean they cant get anywhere else? Local businesses going bankrupt?
Whatevs, so long as der mitey Redman can sine markovic and glen Johnson.
