I know you think I am a Liverpool fan. I don’t blame you guys for that. People here seem to be hypnotised by that club and that’s all they think about all day.

I still don’t know why LFC is dragged in every discussion. We can discuss about CL without LFC.

Yes I get that and I wasn’t the one who started CL debate. I was just putting forth my argument that CL is a huge trophy for any Elite clubs but people can’t accept any opinion or fact that indirectly glorifies LFC. Just by not accepting it won’t change anything. It’s pointless really.

and if buffon had won one or 2 champs leagues but never won a league title would he not swap them for a league title?
it's easy say players/clubs prefer the champions league over the league when they have multiple league titles,of course they are looking for something new to win.if they had never won a league title then they might answer different when asked which they would prefer/harder to win.

Yes that’s true but it also proves that CL is something every player wants to win and it’s huge shock almost shame like when Elite clubs are eliminated in the knockout rounds.

I don’t know why it is so hard to understand.

I also remember players rejecting clubs which are not qualified for CL. It’s a huge factor for a club to attract players as just playing in PL is not sufficient. Why did Lukaku left Everton? Torres left Liverpool? Pogba trying his best to leave Man United. Everyone wants to play in CL. It’s very easy to understand really.

could you not also say torres left liverpool because they were never going to win the league,same with lukaku at everton,same with pogba.when i hear a player saying i want to play for a champs league club usually all i hear is the club i'm at can't pay me the wages i think i deserve.

Torres left the rs so they could have the cash to make a big money bid on Andy Carroll.
