It collapsed because of the pressure on it. I am not denying or rewriting history, but no Liverpool fan pushed a wall onto anybody. The actions caused opposition fans to retreat and the result was the tragic deaths of innocent people. If you were to explain what happened would you say "Liverpool fans pushed a wall onto people"?

In all fairness mate, I don't think it's fair to pin the blame on those retreating. It was a family section and there was no need for them to retreat. Thats not normal that people retreat (or flee) and no football game should require supporters to have to do that.

dunno how it keeps going. Its on the banned list along with Nivia, Standard chartered etc. in this house. Every blue should just stop buying it. Not a boycott the way the victims do, just dont buy it.

The echo has an average circulation of 32500 per day.it's nowhere near paying for itself it will be gone very soon.can only blame themselves as the blues cottened on many years ago they only spoke for the rs in this city.

There's a genuine conversation to be had about the demise of print media and news outlets, particularly at the local level, but yeah, I'm more than happy for that rag to go to the wall.
