You’ve mistaken my using a very common turn of phrase, meaning a way to pass the time when you have little of importance to do, with a literal use of the word kill, as in to end a life.

Time is a man made construct and cannot ‘literally’ be killed, so it’s probably on me for using the phrase in the first place. Forgive me.

Or... don’t be a [Poor language removed] and imply that people you’ve never met are murderers because you’ve heard your mates say it and it makes you sound ‘ard.

Knob.
Yet you call somebody a knob without meeting them?
You maybe call most Evertonians bitter or obsessed with your team which we aren't.
Your lot being obsessed with man utd (I recall my red friends pushing for a rendition of Munich 58 at the milk cup final in 84)
I often wonder though if the shoe was on the other foot and it was us who were involved in those atrocities, how we would be treated ,not by just you our neighbours, but by the rest of the "football family "

I've never understood people who go and post on another club or teams board.

Like you said it's summer, get a life. You can't find anything to do? Must be a hard existence.

Might just be passing the time in work. Its not a massive crime and providing they aren't WUM, like this guy. Then its perfectly fine to get a perspective from other teams supporters surely? Otherwise we just turn into a cult

I called him a knob without meeting him because his words made me think that’s what he is.

I’ve consistently replied to people calling me a murderer or a racist, because frankly it’s a ridiculous thing to say and I want to point it out. I’ve also fairly consistently not responded when people have implied I’m a wum or other such, because I feel less need, and it doesn’t bother me.

If I call someone out it’s because their words allow me to.

After that, the maybe in your other sentence is key. You’ve no idea if I refer to you as bitter or obsessed because I haven’t done so here. If I did, I’d expect to get stick for it.

Just on the Munich thing, for clarity, I’ve never sung a Munich song, not a shipman song, nor any other song glorifying the killing of people, personally, and have actually not witnessed other doing it at a match, though I accept it has and does happen as I’ve seen the videos others have seen.

Anyone singing those songs is also a knob.

I’m here talking about England and my own team, so while you could argue that I’m in the wrong place to do that and it’s a weird choice, it’s actually no different to anyone else in terms of a good use of our time.

I’m sure we all should be doing something more productive, but that’s 95% of then inyetnet!!

He invented Adidas Samba and Fred Perry polo shirts. And wedge haircuts.

They're still at this kind of behaviour nowadays. After the CL final there was some bulb on Twitter boasting about how young LFC fans have "once again re-invented match going culture". When challenged on this he claimed their young lads are unique as they wear man bags and have long hair. He's obviously not from this city seeing as that describes how the majority of this city's youth has dressed for the last 4-5 years. They're so weird they have to believe they're at the forefront of everything.

Another said they are a "fusion of football, music and fashion." No idea what this actually means, though I imagine it's a nod to those strange nights they have where they go to a warehouse and listen to some fella playing his banjo before breaking into choruses of Munich.

They've spent actual money on Shaqiri lol.

At £15m in these times, for a squad player, I’m quite happy with this business.

Our squad depth last year was a problem, especially in the attacking areas, and we got lucky that the front three all stayed healthy after coutinho left, which is unlikely to Ben the case for a full season again.

He’s not coming in to be a First choice star, so the fact he’s not one isn’t a major issue.

Thats why as you correctly pointed out I used maybe.
I never said or or hinted that you as a person ,I've never met ,had sung anything untoward.

205 pages & counting, pre-season with a month of pre-season to go may suggest otherwise...
Anfield is closer than Stamford Bridge or old Trafford mate
A lot of our family friends and work colleagues support your team.
I'd hardly call it an obsession it's banter with a sometimes cruel edge which as I've said before if the shoe was on the other foot.....

Inappropriate Language

They see themselves as being "more than a club". They are, but only in the sense that they're an industrial scale murdering machine.
