To be fair to this lad I don't think he meant much by it at all. He used a common phrase within the scouse lexicon to have a pop back at a lad having a pop at him.

There are loads of Kopites who hate scousers, the Danny Murphy sorts who make jokes about us being unemployed and the hoarded of reds who were giving him support online and in person. It's a mixture of out of town goons, and scouse uncle Toms really. However I didn't get it from this lads comments.

I actually thought the comments made by the other idiot, mocking kids not having enough food to eat and having a butler was far more disingenuous. As was his pathetic defence of Oclade Chamberlain's family, and his insulting idea that racism doesn't exist in private schools and only state schools.

Ask me & I'll tell you where I'm, posting from. South Wales, so I'm Welsh, but have ties to Liverpool as my grandfather was a scouser (passed away 30 years ago). Therefore, I'm not inclined to negatively stereotype scousers as I actually love Liverpool and will be there for the weekend the first league match of the season.
