Oh dear, I just read the article, they want £27m for origi, £20m for gjurgic (who?) and £20m for ings haha
Good Lord.

If anyone has heard of Gjurgic before, they are certainly a koppite. Who is he? Where does he play? Where is he from? I suppose we'd have to use gjugle to find out.

Why do they need to recoup 100mil? They sold countinho for mad amounts and got to the CL final (LOLOLOLOL at that result) as well as their matches being on TV every weekend. Their owners really do not llike spending money

Listening to Radio 5 last night and apparently Liverpool this summer are the club that others should emulate in relation to their transfer practices , they way they’ve done their business rather than simply overpaying like Everton to Watford . Glad to be imformedthey haven’t paid any inflated prices .

Which was obviously a nice listen and completely unbiased , good to hear the Liverpool lads have hit the ground running as a complete success and tore up the league already .

They will get it aswell due to the profile of the club.
They got 15m for ibe and 6m for brad smith remember

They were young though and probably got pay rises when they signed for their new clubs. Ings is on 60k a week for the next three years, nobody is going to match that unfortunately. Same with Origi and the rest, all on too much money to shift.

Well I mean we haven't actually bought anybody for starters so it's a really crap point haha wolves have bought much better because they've bought players way too good for them.

If anyone wants to emulate, the only thing they'll be emulating is failure. Anyone got a total figure on how much money they've spent off transfer fees alone to have not landed a single trophy? It might be above a billion.

Yeah, probaly best not to emulate them and their £50m and £75m purchases on players not at the world cup.

Yeah I accept we haven’t got one over the line , More talking about the Richarlison fee and the value presented by keita ahd Fabinho in comparison. good scouting is what we need to learn apparently.

The players might be a success if they might not , just seems early to be lauding them as the template. Especially when you’re talking about your overpaying, given the record fees involved .
