Absolutely staggered by all these pundits tipping Liverpool for the title.

We just saw the best premier league team in over a decade rack up a hundred points but no. It's Liverpools year. Overturning 25 points is nothing. But united definitely can't win it despite being far closer last year.

I take all that with a pinch of salt. Any grandiose claims will be either from red-biased media or those who understand they must toe the party / financial line.

The media machine know that praising that shower is a sure winner in terms of money, as rightly or wrongly they attract a lot of interest - positive and negative.

Praise them and big them up whether it's objective or not and people will listen and read. When they fail, then there's a story in that so again it's more revenue.

Don't get me wrong, they're stronger this year than last year so may give Citeh a bit more of a fight, but unless they really derail I can't see anyone catching City.

Absolute stack of muppets and I won't be watching any more Sunday supplement on what I can only assume was a broadcast in joint conjunction with Sky sports and LFC TV.

They're selling a product.... The media can make more money off Liverpool fans than pretty much any other club.... Man city have a tiny fan base..Chelsea and Spurs have a tiny fan base....

If the media can get the Liverpool fans to buy into this being there year, they buy Sky Sports and BT to watch all the games, they go on more websites (cause they all have to experts on their team if it's winning), they buy more Jerseys, etc....

Ferguson hated the media and Utd have been awful since he left. The RS would let the media shove a camera up it's hole if they wanted.
