I have heard blues calling us bin dippers, if it’s something about the ‘L’ word they don’t understand that it includes them too!

No mate, you haven't. What a utterly bizarre thing to make up. Utter gremlin.

what's the l word? liverpool?

I was arrested at Hillsborough January 88 when we beat Sheff Wed 5-0. I was innocent but had to accept a caution from the Sheff Constabulary. I'm not scouse but it didn't make any difference, the police up there were shocking. It came as no suprise to me what happened and how it was covered up. The disaster at Hillsborough was a very sad day and I have nothing but admiration for the families who have kept fighting their cause. It may seem cold but I didn't know anyone who went was there and so it doesn't bother too much. Some of my red friends discuss it all the time the very same people who were singing Munich in the pub when Aguerio scored the winner for Man City beat QPR and took the league from under Man Utd's noses. They all reckon the trauma has left theft scared for life despite the fact they weren't there and didn't know any of the supporters who died that day. I have been slagged off and been the subject of abuse for pointing out that injustices happen in every second of every day. They don't mention Hysel either. When people die its sad whoever the support or where they come from. There's a lot of people I know who don't give a toss but pretend they do. As is said on earlier posts JFT96 is used as a throwaway.

Ask him for any evidence of that and he won't find any.

Unlike me sharing online numerous reds who thought another reds jokes about scouser being unemployed and "benefit cheats" was hilarious.

I think what we can assume from that, is he calls people from Liverpool bin dippers, as it's never crossed the mind of any Evertonian I know, but is obviously lodged in his mind for some reason.

Wanted to get your thoughts on this, which I noticed the other day. This is the bio for a Liverpool supporter's group in Milwaukee, WI (USA). Notice the #JFT96 inclusion. I don't want to pass judgement on this since I'm a yank and have no idea what Hillsborough really means for Liverpool residents, but I have to admit that I wonder if it's odd that a group that's not even on the same continent would use this. It's almost like it's just a tagline now.

For those of you that have lived in Liverpool, what do you make of this? Is this is bad taste or is it fair?

I have no issue with it and support people using it. However I've seen many accounts with that hashtag spewing racist, homophobic, misogynstic hate speech and also laughing at people who've had bones broken. If you're a bit of a lowlife it's probably best not to bring the hashtag down by associating yourself to it. That would be my only point. It does the campaign no good whatsoever.

They're utter liars. The same people who claim Everton fans mimic people being asphyxiated.

The lowest of the lowest of all scumbags.

Remember when Destination Kirkby looked like a goer?

And at the Goodison derby they bombarded the pitch with rolled up pairs of socks?

Apparently “sock robbers” is a pejorative term used to stereotype Kirkby residents......meaning they steal socks off’ve washing lines.

They never stopped for a moment to consider the insult being given to their own fellows whom hail from that suburb.

Total morons.

As if we'd use that term. Only Mancs and southerners say that. City fans call us 'blue dippers'.

I have, however, seen Liverpool fans sneering at Scousers.

Loving their continued faux outrage over the fact a pub in liverpool had a buffet when united played them. It's so cringey as they all attempt to outdo each other with their pretend tantrum.

The arkles is full of united everytime we play them, nobody mentions it, it's just one of those things. Why have they even tried to make a thing over it. Genuinely curious.

The fact we don't share double decker buses like we did in '77 is also all down to us. They're the victim of our bitterness or something. Never their fault anyway.
