Excuses, they've had a few.

:blush::blush: What the absolute hell.

I am no Cruyff turn specialist like this guy and, therefore, I don't feel confident on taking on the logic but I did once try a Cruyff turn and fell over, coming to think of that moment it was a hot day, so it could be possible that the area would have been dry...I have vindication finally and all thanks to a mental cultist.

"I'm not making any excuses, but those cans of lager that hit the City bus last season were very slippy and came loose from my hand very easily...."

"I'm not making any excuses, but those CL Final tickets in Athens that looked like I tore out of the hands of fellow reds just fell into my pocket...."

"I'm not making excuses, but that Man Utd steward it appeared was being hurled off the top tier at Old Trafford just stumbled when I walked past him with a cup of tea after HT..."

"I'm not making any excuses, but that stadium in Belgium I rampaged in was dilapidated...."

Embarrassing this. I don't think I've ever met a more pathetic, clueless bunch of people. The absolute state of that.

And how is that even “not making excuses, but”?

Allison should have already checked out and been familiar with the terrain in his own penalty area....so if there was a “dry” part he should have known better than to play Billy Big Balls on that particular spot.

But what heck am I even giving credence to the ramblings of that deluded Kopite for in t’ first place :(

Think your gonna find it hard to this post, brilliant :pint2:;);)

Wanted to get your thoughts on this, which I noticed the other day. This is the bio for a Liverpool supporter's group in Milwaukee, WI (USA). Notice the #JFT96 inclusion. I don't want to pass judgement on this since I'm a yank and have no idea what Hillsborough really means for Liverpool residents, but I have to admit that I wonder if it's odd that a group that's not even on the same continent would use this. It's almost like it's just a tagline now.

For those of you that have lived in Liverpool, what do you make of this? Is this is bad taste or is it fair?

I think it’s fair enough they use it But where i don’t disagree is that some use it without considering the significance of the statement and what it means. Using it like YNWA or as throwaway line just isn’t acceptable to me , it’s something that means something to a lot of people and not just Liverpool fans .

Over time, it has become the default setting for most reds and their posts. Thats fine.

What they dont understand is that anyone who lives/lived/has connections to, Liverpool, (the city), know Hillsborough was/is a tragedy that has never been a running sore between the 2 footballl clubs. The polar opposite in fact.

Not sure some overseas supporters get that.

They are using it as a hashtag to help gets hits on the page, which is terrible really, a lot of people do it, wouldbt single them out for it either, to hashtag that is poor, regardless of where you live

No proper Blues or Reds would ever joke about Hillsborough or Munich. We're better than that. I'm Birkenhead born and bred and I knew four people who never came home from Sheffield that day, neighbours and the son of a former workmate. It is an open sore for Merseysiders and we all hope the families find peace and justice. Now living in Leeds I often have to explain the disaster to my local friends and colleagues, the wider world does not get it yet.

Sad to say but JFT96 has become a lazy label used by people who in all likelihood have no real understanding of the issue surrounding Hillsborough and very probably poke fun at a plane crashing on a Munich runway.

I’ve no problem with any red or blue overseas group using the JFT96 line, provided they fully understand what it means.

That’s exactly the point I was raising or trying to , it shouldn’t be used as a throwaway line it’s just too important for that . I don’t care where somebody is from that line means something and it’s not like YNWA or coyb and in my opinion shouldn’t be used as such , it’s important. It certainly means a lot to me and those close to me .

Those who lost their lives and those who fought tirelessly for justice deserve it to be respected. Just my opinion.
