2 points between the top five clubs and those weird gets are talking exclusively of a Liverpool v Man City "title showdown".

Utterly laughable, as per 'kin usual.

They’ve been told for a season and a half now that they’re probably the best team in England (‘if it hadn’t have been for der red card tho’)and Europe. For the sake of their collective mentality they have to believe it’s not still a 5 horse race after their best ever start.

I think when reality hits eventually this season it will break them. They actually believe in their heart of hearts that it's on for them. When they fail again, Klopp is going to be seen as a false prophet and he'll be down the road quicker than anyone now believes.

I'd be astonished if they dont win a trophy this season that Klopp will be there for next season, despite all the adulation and belief right now. Four seasons with nothing would be appalling.

If he is outperformed by any of Pochettino, Emery or Sarri then serious questions would have to be asked. Two of them are in their first seasons having to transition from completely opposite playing styles, the other spent zero in the summer. Klopp broke the world record for two positions. It’s second as a minimum or he’ll be under pressure. The uncomfortable truth for them is that he was a missed penalty and a few favourable refereeing decisions away from already being under the microscope. Sturridge’s worldy (a player he doesn’t even rate) and Mahrez’s miss have kept him in the ‘race’ and the wolves at the door.

They've ridden their luck so far. It wont hold. They either take another route than the defensive one Klopp has taken this season or they wont keep up with the pace.

I think Klopp feels if he goes for a more attacking approach with a fierce press and looking to blitz games so as to allow for a margin of error then they'll end up tiring themselves out in the latter part of the season. He's in a bind knowing that his purchases just haven't been as good as he'd hoped. He basically has maybe one more player to add to the pool of relaistic first team players on top of the total from last season. That makes rotation a bit of a non-starter.

They will fail to get the title for sure, and I think they'll REALY struggle to hold off the pack behind them to get the RU spot.

The problem is NOT having a go at Liverpool thats gone on for years, it's branding all fellow scousers with the same brush that is a problem.
Do people on GOT really do that? I'm not a scouser but a lot of people on here are, and Everton are a Liverpool-based club and many of our best players and managers have been scousers, so attacking scousers makes no sense.
