I genuinely feel sorry for him, mistakes can happen to anyone at anytime and he'd been relatively sound before that game. They just happened for him at totally the wrong time. I'm glad it happened though for obvious reasons, but I'd hate to be the scapegoat for the cult.

You do need a mental toughness to be a goalkeeper as your mistakes are magnified more than every other position as they, more often than not, lead directly to a goal. Thankfully our number 1 has that mental toughness and self belief to come back from the mistakes.
