ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

I did wonder. Sounds like they're pulling stats out of their arses to make us sound like the baddies, as opposed to super conscientious Liverpool who are totally the goodies here.

"We're at home and it's Everton - once the initial opening 15mins calms things down lets put them to the sword."

They seem to have forgotten the 0-0 masterclass last year.

Colin Murray was just very complimentary about us on 5 live fighting talk.
He even sang Richarlsons "He's Brazillian" song.
Very odd indeed.
Still trotted out the real derby is the United game guff though.

Don’t know why they’re so cocky. Their win % in the premier league against us at Anfield is probably the worst of any of the top 6. Less than half the time they play us at home they don’t win. I’d wager no other top team has that sort of record against a team outside the top 6. Focusing on our lack of wins at Anfield all the time and celebrating draws against us with ‘ha ha you still can’t beat us’ is the sort of small time mentality that has stopped them winning the league for close to 3 decades. We cost them 4 points last season. If we avoid defeat tomorrow it’s a hammer blow to their title challenge. Yet all they’re bothered about is our win record since 1999. Proper big club.

That game could be a tipping point for them. I'm hoping they slip up a couple of times before and United can close the gap a bit. Mourinho has a free hit CL game before that as well so will be able to spend all week devising a game plan to beat them.

I can't remember the last time they won a league game against United. It probably coincides with them stopping viewing them as a rival, as they have realised they are back in their shadow. Must be what, 5 or 6 years ago now? If this United team can get a result against hem, heads will fall off even more than if we do to be honest.

Is it really that long? Weird as Utd have been really average for that whole period.

Screw utd catching them up mate, I want us to stuff them and start reeling them in before the mancs get a chance. Spurs v Arsenal drawn and us to win Sunday will do me very nicely ;)
