I hate to be a Debbie Downer, but I'm not confident about tomorrow. Especially because it's at Castle Greyskull and you just know they'll somehow get at least one ridiculous penalty.
Probably. But they HAVE to win.

If they dont, they are adrift of City and teetering on the edge of CL elimination.

It's a bigger 90 minutes for them than it is for us.

Definitely a much bigger game for the cult in the grand scheme of things.
After PSG on Wednesday and another win for Citeh, anything less than a win is failure.
Newcastle and Watford next up at Goodison smells like six points to me.
COYB!!!

Start of a crucial month. Despite some of them still pretending to think they have a chance they're all looking behind them. If they lose to us then i think their confidence will just melt.

Long trip to Bournemouth Who gave citeh a good game, fatigue sapping game against napoli, then United who they always struggle against, tricky game under the lights against Wolves, the FSW baggage that comes with the barcodes and then Arsenal who can break their lines with ease.

We could be ahead of by the time the Cup starts.

I agree with this totally. For us, it's a transition season and has been from the start. We have little riding on the result except local pride.

I'm fairly sure they still win at a canter though, because Everton.

They'd take a 1-0 win right now.

They face being 5 points off City - with City now in PL-only mode having qualified for the CL. City have between now and mid-February - when the CL KO stage begins - to get the title out of sight, and if Liverpool slip up tomorrow they get a big head start on that.

Liverpool will play more attacking and less defensive tomorrow. They'll want this won early desperately to settle nerves...if they dont get ahead early, they'll probably buckle is my guess. They wont like what this Everton team can do away from home, that's for sure.

Will be interesting how they do start the game.

With their front 3 having played midweek I agree I think they'll want the game won by 60/70 minutes when they'll tire so I do expect a quick 15-20 minute start.

If I was Silva I would be telling the lads to sit back and weather the storm. They'll not want to be going in at HT level.

Lads please be careful tomorrow, please don’t apply any undue pressure to the new roof they put on the shed, it’s to be windy tomorrow, think safety first.

Let’s be neighborly, nod and say it looks great (lulz), not everyone is as fortunate as us to be able to build a new ground these days.

I was saying this myself the other day Dave. I think they'll revert to how they played last season, a high tempo, pressing game. Klopp will be thinking that if they go all out and win the game early on he can think of making changes and resting a few players. The biggest problem with that though is our pace on the break, we just need to make sure we make our chances count.

They'll throw every available attacker at this believing they can camp out in our half.

As well as weather the early storm, we have to have some dangerous attacking moments early to keep them in two minds and have them play more cautiously. Fortunately, we have the players to do exactly that.

They almost certainly will. It's a big gear change to make that though, having played all their matches this season in a more cautious fashion. That could be a big ask for them.
