Would have been 8 and all over if it weren't for that idiot Mahrez.

7, and if the lino had called the offside handball goal for Wolves it would be 9. Genuinely hope you beat them tomorrow, and not just because they are challenging us for the title. There's just something nauseating about them. Everything from all their former players spewing nonsense in the media to their emotionally retarded fans who get giddy or violent when they're happy or just violent when they're sad. They are a stain on your City.

Have you seen klopp's moan today.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says other teams are too scared of Manchester City and do not show his side as much respect as they do to the Premier League champions. (Sunday Express)

I mean, yeah everyone should rightly respect a team that's won nowt compared to the champions.

Paul Ince proving why the reason he isn't a manager has nothing to do with the colour of his skin.

If you look at the Liverpool team right now, and the way they’re playing, they’re on a different level to Everton.
It’s very hard to imagine any Toffee getting into a combined XI with The Reds.
However, I really like what Marco Silva is doing at Goodison Park, they’re improving a lot under him.
I don’t mean to be disrespectful to Everton, it’s just that Liverpool have set such a high standard at the moment.

I do reckon there are a few Everton players who would definitely get into the Liverpool matchday squad at the minute, and be challenging for a first team place.
Richarlison is a wonderful player, Seamus Coleman would push Trent Alexander-Arnold at right-back, Pickford surely would fit in at Anfield, and Gylfi Sigurdsson is a class operator.
Forget about the disappointment against Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool are flying and this is a completely different game. I expect them to remain dominant on Merseyside.
Derbies are, of course, always tough, and difficult to predict, but Jurgen Klopp has created something special at Anfield.

Anyone who would put Henderson in over Andre Gomes is, and I mean this respectfully, a class-one plutonium grade anus

Ha Ha Ha.

Digne is better than Robertson
Henderson doesn't get a place in Everton's midfield
Pickford versus Allison is a toss up
Gomes strolls into a Liverpool team
Richarlison gets a start over Firmino in a front three

Where they have anything like a clear advatage over Everton are with the two CBs, Mane and Salah...and the last one is only because we have no attacker this season.

That ^^^^ is the unalloyed truth of the matter without any tribalism.

We need to control the midfield if possible then (easier said than done against those kick and rush merchants). They’ve shown vulnerability home and away to any decent footballing side. Arsenal Napoli PSG Leicester even Fulham have all given them problems by just being bold and playing round what has become an ineffective press. Once it turns into a crazy stretched end to end scramble they thrive at that, the longer it stays a boring game with us in possession the better chance we have of wearing them down.

Your being very kind to Terrence Trent Darby at right back there.

Completely agree with that. We play a more controlled game and they play the more direct, harum scarum football. Which is why it's utter bollocks when their fawning media start talking about 'clear superiority' of Liverpool over Everton. A clueless bunch of arse-lickers.

If we show the discipline that was on dispaly at Chelsea a few weeks back, we can build a platform to impose our game as it unfolds second half. We need to stay in this until HT (or even get ourselves ahead).

Yeah, I couldn't make a case either for him or Coleman, tbh, so I left the comparison out. For me, a FB has to be a good defender first and foremost, and neither are.
