He’s fully committed and plays the game ‘right on the edge’. A number of our players in that semi against Bayern had a similar attitude. You need steel as well as ability at the highest level, you don’t win things with a bunch of choir boys in the team. Sadly that is why the RS has walked all over us recently as we have no one to stand up to them.

The unpalatable truth they're running from is that they got found out on Saturday. Shown up as a fake big club - for all the world to see. One match against a massive Euro outfit they faced in the CL this season and they were ripped to shreds.

Im happy with that,all the rs nod their head sagely and agree that they were robbed,wait till we win the league next season that will show the doubters,then the wheels come off again,out come the crys for the board to splash out and then they slowly turn on Norbert,let the journos build up false hope

But they were cheated though. Like they were at the Etihad when Ederson headbutted Mane's studs, and got him an unfair red card!

Look at the way City this year were able to mix up their play when they had to; and look at the way Madrid played on Saturday night in just one game where they switched from a solid defence with bodies behind the ball to contain Liverpool early on and then pushed them back and played a possession based game. Liverpool have one gear and they either press and blow teams away early on or they struggle to a hard fought draw/win or else lose those tighter encounters. I've said before that Keita looks bang average. In the Bundesliga he might be able carry the ball over distance and prompt attacks, but here in this league he'll be dispossessed before he gets within 30-40 yards of the opposition goal. They spent about £55M on him IIRC. They need an upgrade on Milner and Henderson for sure, but I'm not convinced he's the solution in the engine room.

But as with van dijk, anything he does will be praised. I haven't seen him once be vilified in the media, but if he played for united he'd be mocked AOTS as a flop.

Maybe it’s the realisation just how much they rely on one man (Salah). Bale to united and Salah to real would deliver a further knock out blow to them. Their arch rivals getting a truly world class player and losing their best player to real in return.

Oh aye. It's all good news. Those reporters though are something else. Placing themselves on a pedestal above the likes of the Mirror reporters when in reality they're just Klopp apostles lacking any of the objectivity they pretend to hold.

I certainly wouldnt use the word journalist to describe them,more cheer leaders for whoever happens to be successful,as long as they can jump on the gravy train everything is fine

1) DON'T beg for the attention of every person in the country in the lead up to the match when you think you're gonna win then ask them all to forget about it once you've had your ass handed to you

2) DON'T claim to be the best team in Europe, who play the best heavy metal football in the world and are so amazing when you finished 20 points behind in the league and have 1 league cup in 13 years

3) DON'T tell me you have all these amazing players and an amazing team then when 1 gets injured tell us it cost you the trophy

***EDIT 7) Can we finally stop with the YNWA [Poor language removed]. From your fans to your players! Not one of your players went near Karius at the end to support him in what must have been the worst moments of his life. Lay for 2 or 3 full minutes before 2 Madrid players went and consoled him. And your fans? 20 Roma fans came to town and rolled your balls while your brothers in arms stood and took videos instead of helping
