Great point mate. I've been concerned from the first day of the season and it was purely down to city being complacent and the unbelievable amount of luck they continue to get. As someone once said, "complacency is the architect of defeat."After yesterday I am increasingly concerned, a point at City will be terrific for them and if they win, which wouldn't be a huge surprise, then they have one (stained) hand on the trophy.
Still think City have a weak underbelly and in a straight fight, they are more likely than not to bottle it. The plaudits for 'Pep' and Co. have gone to their heads a bit. I don't think they have the same hunger as the in-breds. Not for another PL title anyway when they haven't made a dent in Europe. Losing that game yesterday comes from complacency, and not getting the basics right.
As per, the media have bigged City up to a ridiculous degree. Granted, they do likewise for the other lot, but they believe the hype such that it turned into the self-sustaining and self-perpetuating paranormal cult we all recognise.
A long way to go, and still competitive but everything has gone their way this season. Every single thing.
As for a no-deal Brexit, it's time to start contingency planning for when the apocalypse occurs.

Just read about 10 pages and about to comment about all the fallen heads.Meltdowns, heads falling off and masks slipping all over this thread,Merry Christmas everybody
Don't know how old you are mate but you sound just like me 40 years ago and I used to say it every year until eventually I realised that they will always have the luck of the devil.Just read about 10 pages and about to comment about all the fallen heads.
3rd or 4th with a Kloppian meltdown by March. Relax people.
That'll put me at 84 when the penny drops? Oh well...Don't know how old you are mate but you sound just like me 40 years ago and I used to say it every year until eventually I realised that they will always have the luck of the devil.
Spurs are better than Liverpool.
This season isn't over yet.
Getting a result away at Barca.Based on what? This game? Liverpool already beat Spurs easily at Wembley this season.
Getting a result away at Barca.
And playing some really good football.
Only my opinion like..
Like us haha.... crawl back under yer mar’s quilt you meltUnfortunately the league table doesn't lie and Spurs have lost 4 games already in the league this season. They play nice football though when on form, especially when teams like us today play utter rubbish.
If City can keep Liverpool within grabbing distance for the next couple of months, then the wins become tougher to grind out for a team desperate to see the winning post.
Let's see how Klopp's lot handle the pressure. It's all well and good where they are now, but we haven't even reached half way.
This last month has been a disappointment that's seen them on the verge of being left behind by City to now occupying a position where they can control the title race. But there will be more twists and turns to come.
First things first: City have to get three points against Leicester now.
