Just read it and I find that absolutely unbelievable. I'd love to know what this "threshold" is what he didn't cross to make it sufficient enough to be classed as a dive.

Just read on Sky Sports that his (Salah) reaction to the incident didn't meet the threshold. Meaning because he dived but didn't scream and shout for a penalty and the ref gave it anyway - puts the onus on the referee's decision to award it and not Salah's decision to dive.

Just read on Sky Sports that his (Salah) reaction to the incident didn't meet the threshold. Meaning because he dived but didn't scream and shout for a penalty and the ref gave it anyway - puts the onus on the referee's decision to award it and not Salah's decision to dive.

Its just unreal isn't it how he's got away with that. ANY player who now dives can basically appeal the decision because if he gets away with that then anyone can get away with anything.

Diving is allowed and the FA are 100% endorsing it after that decision

In terms of precedent, it is literally the exact same incident as the Niasse one, minimal contact with the player then simulating that there had been more contact than there was. Of course, Martial dived against us some weeks back and won a penalty, if they didn't ban him then they sure as hell won't ban Salah, especially as he'd miss the Man City game.

They are truly the devil's club.

I reckon the only reason he won't have faced action is because them lot scored more goals to have made it matter.

the way motd just dismissed the dive was unreal
