ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I suppose it underlines - if it ever needed to be underlined - that Liverpool supporters equate mayhem with support. If there isn't chaos and damage to life and property, it's seen as failure.

This Means More is really another way of saying We'll Do What We 'Kin Want.

And if anyone crosses them or reports the reality of what they do, they'll be abused, blackguarded, maimed or threatened with murder.

They bear no relation to me or any other Evertonian, and they are not reflective of the city of Liverpool as a whole.

This is a pack of hyenas who need sorting out once and for all.

Shame EFC are too cowardly to finally call them out for the scum they are

On last nights basis they’ve probably just ruined any remaining hope of having some sort of organised parade any time soon. They don’t know how to behave responsibly and should not be given another chance to repeat the carnage, which they would. Imagine that but with 50x mass gathering? Eating into the public health and safety resources during a pandemic so they can all have a piss up over a football team winning a bit of silver is outrageous and careless.

I think Everton need to steer clear of it.

This is their mess. The pressure and emphasis needs to be on LFC.

Problem is mate if we stay silent you know their orcs in the media will brush it under the carpet as "minority of scouse troublemakers".

When they are smashing our city up and firing rockets at our office building thats when the club needs to grow a backbone and tell some home truths about that club

Bloody hate social media you know, it makes fans behave in such a performative manner because they have to be seen living.

I mean just stay in small groups, go outside and sing along with other fans on your street, enjoy the moment with close friends and family. It doesn’t have to be a big display that puts people at risk and minimum leaves our city a feckin dumping ground.

This is very concerning as it will bring over 100k into the city from all over in around 4 weeks when we still are not out of the woods. Are the council this desperate for revenue? This cant be right

this is probably the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen. If council resources have spent any time on this when half the city still isn’t reopen and an impending unemployment crisis is on it’s way then it’s shameful. Sadly people in this city will not learn. Nothing is more important to them than that football club. Not people’s lives, not their own jobs, not other people’s property, not government guidelines. They just don’t care, they’ll stop everything else in order to have their parade and don’t care how many people will dies because of it. If at any point we go into a regional lockdown because of a second wave. It’s on them. Every single job lost, every death, every hospitalisation, it’s solely on them.
