ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Because city decided to neglect their defence in the summer the wall tumblers are the best team in football. Only city come close everyone else is so far behind. City aren’t winning a title with that defence.

lads they always win the league in October ...

long old season , and Chelsea shoulda shared the points today not for some crappy finishing

None of the clubs will sign up for that.

No money in it for the TV or the clubs, it will be boring AF to watch IMHO.

Television is who drives football now, and that's why the CL will be revamped for saturday viewing in 3-4 seasons to entice even bigger money with streaming giants Netflix and Amazon.

Amazon already have a xmas/new year tv package in the UK for the PL, they are showing football documentaries on Prime, they are dipping their toe in regard to football and the giants of Europe and UEFA won't even be dealing with tv channels but the Streaming giants, Agnelli is driving it and he has loads of clubs behind it except for the Sky 6 and Bundesliga who voted against moving domestic football to mid week, they will obviously change when the money will be a bigger increase from a revamped CL/Super League.

Here in Canada DAZN got the PL rights. I dumped my cable provider because aside from footy, HBO, and NETFLIX I don’t watch TV. Streaming does seem to be the future.

Liverpool FC assessing impact of Thomas Cook collapse

A perhaps little known fact about Thomas Cook is that it runs a football holiday operation where supporters can follow their team.
Liverpool Football Club said this morning: "We are aware Thomas Cook has ceased trading this morning.
"Thomas Cook sells 360 hospitality packages for each of our home games at Anfield.
"We are currently assessing the impact of Thomas Cook ceasing trading and the impact for those supporters who have purchased packages from Thomas Cook. Once we have those details from Thomas Cook we will update supporters."

I know but city look a lot more fragile and they haven’t dropped a point since March .
Could say the same this time last season to get to 10 points behind!

Liverpool won the league at Christmas remember, they weren't going to be caught. City are a machine defence or no defence as Saturday shows

Liverpool are due some points being dropped, they aren't the very best team in the world and eventually someone will beat them.

It could be too late by then
They were 10 points ahead in January last season and they still bottled it. Anyway, Van Djerk off to Real in January and they'll crumble. Who could deny him his move to a giant of the game. Could well be a role reversal come February of the PEDs haven't worn off before then.

See @Kenshin has already made the point that Liverpool can bottle a 10 point lead quite easily.

I didn't know Thomas Cook did tours to England.

I do feel sorry that people have lost the jobs and money on holidays/ events that they more than likely will struggle to get back though. I'm sure the rs will find a way to re-sell those packages and perhaps even charge more. If not they can use the empty executive box as a trophy room for the August League Trophy, the September League Trophy alongside the 'Lawro It's my longest streak of being right at predicting Liverpool Wins since we lost the league at Goodison Park" Shield.

I hope you are right but I am fully aware that they were top at Christmas last season. The year after they lost to Madrid they went one better last year. I think the same will happen in the league. If city spent on a centre half and Laporte hadn’t of got injured. I would favour city. But they look dodgy at the back.

Liverpool and city are miles ahead of anyone else In Europe. Maybe Juve come close but I’m not so sure.
