ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Contract is in the post but you may want to read the small print .

1 a) You must arrange your own insurance , management will accept no responsibility for any injuries sustained .

b) You must buy and use the recommended transport at all times , not just in the L4 area but worldwide.

Do you still want the job ?
What's the stereo like?
Very LOUD ! and plays the siren and Z cars on a loop.

They hold nothing sacred. And they dont value human life.

The likes of Prentice jumping in and protecting them underlines why there remains a boycott of the E*h* by Evertonians.

Spot on about Prentice, since when did the kopites need anyone protecting them and the fella is supposed to be a bluenose. They have enough public defender's in the media from Mordor without him needing to wade in.

He was probably scared to loose his job at the Oldham red echo if he doesn't toe the party line though.

He wants to keep his job and grace and favours.

Same Dave Prentice who worked for the Liverpool FC Echo who dared not question the goings on at board level at Goodison or raise questions about Bill Kenwright and his lack of investment? Same Prentice who along with Dom King (Everton’s at the time ‘Reporter’ who was a Kopite) did their upmost best to convince us the move to Kirkby in that soulless retail park would be an historic venture for the club. Same Prentice who was happy to keep us in our place as plucky little Everton who should just keep quiet and accept mediocrity. Surely not him?

If it had been the Shankley gates vandalised, I'd want Everton to condemn that and say they would help the police and LFC in the investigation to the best of the club's ability if asked, and also state categorically that if it had been an Everton match goer, then he would be facing a life ban. I would expect my fellow Evertonians to be disgusted and pillory the person responsible and that would be only intensified if it turned out to be an Everton 'fan'.

What do I expect the rs response to the Dixie Dean statue vandalism? I wouldn't be suprise if the rs announcement (if any) would be that the club shop is selling extra long rs branded matches for safer firework lighting.

Has anyone approached them for comment that we know of? I haven't seen the "LFC didn't respond to our request" in any of the reporting yet, indicating that (as usual) journalists are relying on twitter and regurgitating press releases for content.

If I was in the rs upper management I'd be on the phone to my Everton counterpart to see what support they needed and try and take the heat out of the situation.

Mind you if I actually was in rs upper management, I'd probably be typing the word grass into a reply to the Everton tweet.
