ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

15 min This, if true, is quite amusing: apparently Sadio Mane started clutching the wrong ankle after earning Liverpool’s matchwinning penalty against Leicester.

The difference is that was before VAR and also they didn't get 2 goals in a week with a keep dropping the ball. You just know they're going to win now, I don't even have any hope that the other side with get anything.
That was a penalty though. Once the ref had given it they were never going to reverse it. In the World Cup even if the ref hadn't given it VAR would. The problem is the rules, where any contact is a foul, encouraging players to exaggerate and referees to give way more fouls than when I started watching.

The way the commentariat now normalises these incidents is horrendous. If City had won a pen like that last minute there would be now a feverish debate across all platforms regarding all their other results in an effort to get Liverpool a leg up with decisions too. But when it's them it's not an issue.

FFS, these are the people who reported last season's City title win as Liverool's "victorious" season.

30 years without a title win; they need the authorities to step in and weaponise the technology to hand them one, otherwise theyd be here anothe 30 'kin years waiting for one.

That is the top and bottom of it.

So your saying Allbrighton didn't kick his leg?
Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying. It was no foul...Mane threw himself to the ground and conned the ref (not that the corrupt get needed much conning).

Come on, will yer: it's the final minute and that lot are in the box...are you telling me you dont expect them to throw themselves down and con an official?

But it is true. There's something not right about the super fitness and dodgy decision s going their way

About a week or two ago a penalty was given against them in the champions league Napoli match which everyone enjoyed because it was a clear dive and VAR did nothing. Players all over the world do their utmost to con officials and get the win for their team. There’s no conspiracy.

He kicked his leg.Not hard enough to justify him going to ground but he definitely kicked his leg
