And that win saved the world from Liverpool being ‘The Invincible's’ - can you just imagine the media jizzfest?
In some ways I wish they had gone unbeaten and we won the league on goal difference after losing 4 games. The meltdown would have been on a scale similar to Chernobyl!
 
Given this latest slur on Evertonians from the local Kopite cheerleading lying gets...hot on the heels of one of their illiterates calling Evertonians "snides" for crticising their poor coverage of the BMD stadium design reveal.....and adding them to the hundreds of other anti-Everton pieces that rag pump out: is it not time an organised ban of the Echo on GOT took place?

We've had newspapers 'No Platformed" here in the past - why not this scurrilous paper?

I put it to @admin that it's time to proscribe the Echo on GOT: no links at the very least, and preferably a complete blackout on their Everton coverage?

I agree on the echo stuff, but let’s wait to see if this disgraceful idiot is a so called blue first.

I'd certainly like to know what admin's official line on this is. As said, a precedent wouldn't be set: it's happened with other newspapers over transfer stories, so new ground would not be broken.

It's a long standing issue and concern with all on here, not kneejerk.

If GOT - the biggest EFC forum - were to make a stand then something might be done.

When you read RAWK you can see exactly who their target audience is Read any matchday thread involving City or Everton and it will be littered with posters wishing injury on City or Everton players and nothing is said about it. Wishing injury on a player is a ban worthy on most decent forums. On RAWK it seems to be normal. No surprises to see The Red Echo crowing about a possible ACL injury to Sane and how much Liverpool can benefit from it.

100% this. They make money from disparaging our club. It’s in their interest that we are kept down and Liverpool are successful. They have become the propaganda arm for our biggest rivals. We shouldn’t be entertaining them at all and given their shameful coverage of numerous events recently we shouldn’t be giving them any traffic from here whatsoever.

It's not just this incident though. If it turns out that it was a Blue who did it then we, as Everton fans, would collectively condemn the idiot.

If it was the other way round then the RS and the Red Echo would brush it under the carpet/blame Chelsea/make some T-shirts.
 
Anyone else notice the Daily Fail had a story on Liverpools players feeling down after they were beaten by Real Madrid 3-1 (Ramos Final) today? Two years after the event?

You can see the timing is to keep Liverpool relevent on Transfer Deadline Day. Not discreet in the slightest.
