ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Alison tested positive for Covid now apparently
One of the 10 positive tests from today.

If proven to be true, questions must follow as to why so many of the murder Inc squad seem to be contracting the virus - they seem to have had a load of positive tests?!

What are they up to?

True this, we share the same City and I don't recall us having one, I may be wrong, but it ain't many that's for sure

In amongst a piece in the Athletic that sought to try and exonerate Klopp's tantrum about Saturday scheduling of PL games after Euro games is this:

In addition, one sleep specialist told The Athletic that caffeine supplements have been used more frequently by players since football returned behind closed doors as a way of replicating the kick or adrenaline boost that may usually come from supporters in the stadium. Caffeine promotes muscle recovery but also disrupts sleep. Sleep is important for footballers as it reduces the risk of injury. In one study of high school athletes, it was found that individuals who slept less than eight hours per night on average were 70 per cent more likely to record an injury than those who slept more than seven hours.

There isn't a team in the league that cane's their caffeine intake more than that lot. They are guzzling it down before games and at HT during games, and in recovery after games. Caffeine, remember, is an ever present in WADAs monitoring list of illicit drugs in sport.

These injuries are entirely of Klopp's making. He knows it and he knows he has to continue the regime in order to try and stay competitive. THAT is the source of his frustration, just as it was at Dortmund.

This feller was understanding of Lance Armstrong for a very good reason - he too looks to use substances to get an edge and keep it.

Mirallas took ages to recover from his stamp from Suarez to get back to where he had been. Ask Ben Mee whether he’s ever got back to where he was before VVD laid him out. They’re quite happy to go around physically dominating teams throwing wild tackles around, forearm smashes, stamps, and the second someone dishes it back out to them they’ve spent months crying over it. There was one derby that Trent could have had three red cards for wild tackles and deliberate stamps yet nothing was even mentioned because the media’s favourite team had won.

Klopp is a tit but on the other hand that’s what winners tend to do. Any club dares takes points of them they are fire and brimstone in the media. All managers going for the title have done it over the years. A Ferguson would be getting refs and pundits sacked with his fury after some games. Clubs like us go 5 games without a win and you don’t hear a peep from us.

I mean if that is whats happening, it's pretty obvious you will get short term gain for long term pain. This was the pattern at Dortmund and increasingly the pattern at Liverpool. No idea if Klopp does it mind.

I just think he has a bizarre aversion to rotasting his squad, as say Alex Ferguson used too. I bet he goes ultra strong against Ajax tonight.
