ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Can see Mbappe signing a new contract as Real and Barca are skint. Dont think they can afford Salah either but Liverpool will want to sell a big name to balance the books as without that or selling overpriced crap next year, they wont be able to spend.

No way are they signing Mbappe btw.

Big links to Real Madrid today. I suspecy he goes to Madrid or signs a long term deal as you say.

Madrid probably just tell Salah to hang on for a year, and sign him for a nominal fee (20m ish) in 2022.

Teams take points of their rivals then get battered by Liverpool, Wolves, Leicester, Palace have done exactly this in last few weeks and next up its West Broms turn after drawing away at City they will get wacked about 5-0 at Anfield

It’s only really City United and us who ever give them a game. Most of the other top teams in the league have lost it in the tunnel against them. Spurs will demolish United away then look terrified against them, Arsenal turn up brilliantly in the cups against them then are pathetic in the league, Chelsea could easily go toe to toe with them but self destruct when they play them home or away in the league recently. The less said about Wolves and Leicester the better, absolute bottle jobs.

Villa

You don't like to say it (well I don't) but they are the only consistent team in the league. Unless Man Utd can gain some consistency the rs will win the league at a canter again this season. That said, if the inconsistency stays it gives us a better chance of getting into Europe so swings and roundabouts.

I think it's safe to say the league is theirs, but it strangely did not feel as bad as expected last year, maybe because of the whole circumstances surrounding it and it will be the same this year. By the time fans are back they will be on the wane and Klopp riding off into the sunset.

They haven't been massively consistent though. Hammered for 7 at Villa. Drawn at Fulham etc. They look the most consistent though.

Reports they will offer Salah a new deal. He’s already on 200k a week and is almost 30. If he moves up then Mane Van Dijk and Firmino will come knocking at the door as well. Klopp will win for himself this season no doubt but he is creating a time bomb for the next manager. He will be left with a squad of over 30s on astronomical wages.
