ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Hopefully Utd catch them in the next game and us and city end up 1 point behind them with a game in hand then klopps arse will start twitching
Said it for the last 2 months on here: worst Liverpool team for the last 4 seasons. The Liverpool team of 2018/19 (when this lot were at their peak) would have demolished an outfit like Newcastle.

I have no idea if they snide this season's title or not, but what i do know is that Klopp's Liverpool are finished. Just in the same way everyone knew SAF's last title team were unravelling and a couple of season past peak (not that I'm comparing those great United teams with Klopps kick and rush divvies).

.

He’s talked about as one of the greatest midfield players of all time. He wasn’t even the best in that England team, and it’s arguable whether Alonso wasn’t better than him in that Liverpool team. When he was at his peak he would win a match singlehandedly but then disappear in the next game which is one of the reasons why he didn’t win a league.

He was obviously a very very good player but some people pundits put him in their greatest 11s of all time. That for me is overrating him.
I don't think people realize how much Alonso helped him, once he left Gerrard struggled.

I suppose the question is whether at his best he'd get in this RS side; I don't think he would.
