ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

You should write books. And anti vac Facebook posts.
I think they get the decisions going their way, i think they are over represented in the media.
I don’t think their is a big conspiracy.
TAA has dropped form but he is still so young. Liverpool for all their being crap this season are still sitting pretty in the league.

They have broken the transfer record again and again. They pay wages hundreds of millions higher per year than most of the competition. You'd expect them to be "sitting pretty" wouldn't you?

Yes whatever you think of him, he was massive figure. His fall from grace for cheating was enormous.

Yep - it sure was. The other thing was he created an image through Livestrong / Yellow bands, made it far more difficult for people to criticise him, partiuclarly hightlighted by the famous Paul Kimmage press conference incident (worth a google). It turns out that was essentially a swizzle, with more $'s going on private jets than actual charity, which is a real real shame, although the awareness was massive in fairness

TAA has dropped form?!

This was a lad that no one had heard of. He wasn’t a Gerrard, or a Rooney that had rumours coming out about them from about 14. Wasn’t even a Barkley. Even Jay Spearing and Connor Coady had more hype about them. There was absolutely nothing. He was playing in reserve games that Tom Davies and Kieran Dowell were dominating.

Next minute he comes into the team and not only is he instantly a premier league right back, he instantly became probably the best right back in the world! How do you have a player like this in the academy yet no one had even noticed him before Klopp got there?

How is that same player, now looking as though he doesn’t know where to stand on the football pitch? There’s a loss in form but you don’t go from nothing to that high and then end up looking rubbish again.

possible conclusions to how he looks rubbish...
1) your theory is right (probably not for me)
2) He is just out of form post injury & possibly struggling for fitness after Covid.
3) He has lost two very very fast CB's covering for him
4) As per 3, he has now lost his MF's covering for him as they are at CB and not nearly as good
5) a combination of 2-4 has left his confidence shot and as such he is struggling.

Doping theories are great, but for when it comes to his form, the answers are probably far more obvious

Same as last season, funny how people forget how mid table liverpool looked for the first half of the season and city was refereed into oblivion, apart from man u I dont think there was a team that didn't have issues with liverpool's refs, I know we should of had 2 penalties and robertson and trent should of seen red , that game was classed as well refereed.
As for man u they decent on a good day.
I think both their snides of full backs get away with murder with refs and now get by on their forward play rather than their defensive work. They definitely miss VVD mopping up their errors.

6) Mean regression.

PEDs don't turn you into a top player, you get the advantage of being able to run at pace for longer than others and strength advantage but certainly won't turn you into a top baller.

It does if your entire tactics revolve around pace and power. Any error he made could be recovered easily. Any positional error he could just outrun the opposition player. Yeah he’s good at crossing a ball but as we’re seeing this season that’s not enough if you can’t defend.

Apply that logic and all you need is 10 Adama Traore’ and a goalie
