ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

At least he is admitting he does the same.

Won't stop the mental reds clamoring for punishment though.

In fairness it is against the rules, Mick Mccarthy rotated the Wolves side years ago and they got a fine only team to have gotten punished i think... if it's in the rules to start with your best 11 then United should get punished... in my opinion if the FA insist on a 25 man squad you should be allowed to pick your first 11 from that 25 men plus youths.. regardless of how weak your team looks.

Thing is United could of gone full strength last night and still lost, really it was only a narrow win for Leicester, it's not like UTD were scoring OGs to lose.
While it's funny from the club I dont think there was any naughty agendas
Jim White just said on Sky 'he's been out since October. He suffered that injury, do you remember in the Merseyside derby'.

I'm glad that he jogged my memory because I'd forgotten all about it,

Definately an asterisk. Without fans there has to be 100% just as there is with every single trophy won by every single club during this pandemic regardless of who they are. However, the asterisk is smaller than Liverpool's as this season was consistent. Unlike when they had a 3 month break, changing of the rules, water breaks, five subs etc. Until the stadiums are full to capacity again every single game, never mind trophy will have an asterisk against it.
k'off mate, that means we still haven't won a derby!

Not really....the season has been the same for everyone, and from Day 1 everyone knew the story with empty stadiums....

more importantly, there wasn't a lengthy break during the season making the whole thing a complete farce...
there wasnt rule changes introducing water breaks, and 5 substitutions...

This is a legit Title win....
This is an oddball season and deserves an asterisk but I agree it's legitimate as everyone played it out under the same set of rules over the season.

Last season was completely compromised and not just because the rs won it. I'd have called the league off and awarded them the title to try and halt the spread of covid.

If they lose they’ll still be 9 behind Leicester, they’ll be 10 behind Chelsea if they beat Arsenal tonight. The RS play relegated WBA on Sunday, the other two meet in the FA Cup final on Saturday, so could close any gap but will be ruled out completely by a draw between the two in their league meeting next Tuesday with the RS facing Burnley a week tonight
