As part of any enquiry it will be interesting to see if the authorities share any intelligence they may have recieved regarding a co-ordinated effort to bunk in. England fans targeted disabled access points in a fashion that was far from random.I hope UEFA have the balls to not back down to these . The French police , Madrid and French media , along with the city of Paris know the truth , the overwhelming evidence posted on Twitter speaks volumes too
Miserable bollocks ?
Lot of truth In thatIts not these who will be punished or suffer consequences.
Its the next lot of fans who want to support their team in a competition abroad.
If we were playing Lille next season, no way 11,000 ( with tickets) get to have a great trip
I do too. But once the rats who broke in filled their place what can the authorities do? They can't let another Hillsborough or Heysel happen.I feel sorry for the ticket holders' treatment outside. No need for that. Many may be glad they couldn't get in. Hope they all behave
So thousands of the selfish scumbags were willing to fcuk over their fellow fans who had genuine tickets by having them locked out of a stadium?First , its not right that fans with tickets didnt get in. Nor is it right that they got gassed.
But faced with a crowd that only half have a genuine ticket, or intend to jib in , you have created a nightmare at the gates.
I doubt Blag1 tried his ticket, it was bogey and walked away. Nope. Hes going to argue.
Followed by Blag 2 etc etc. All the while the queue moves slowly.
Some jump gates, some double dip.
Then, soon enough, the ground is full. You cant let hundreds more in. ( and they should know that).
So they are now locked out. Upset holding genuine tickets .
An avoidable situation. It could have been better controlled but the authorities underestimated how many thought they could get in.
One way or another it was going to be chaos.
The BBC sports reporter has just said that the trouble started when local youths tried to get into the stadium…words fail me.
